Like the stags here.Both teams knew they weren't going to the senior prom.Mason is still thinking about there cinderalla dance a few yrs ago...Think Stags are looking so foward to this game..lets not forget they took Siena to OT in the MAAC finals...Stags went on a nice run at the end beating Niagara and Iona....Mason lost 5 in a row to VCU,Northeast,Char,W&Mary and ODU....Needham is the best player out there...Stags have a good record...not sure how many masons fans come out...stags win by 4-6 pts..

rrc...I knew he was from the Chicago area...great court sense..high basketball IQ...he just makes everyone around him better...

Illinois -6 over Stony Brook....what is that about....I played with those numbers last nite...I have Illi -13 on the road....almost double the line...that never happens....so there has to be much more..I know Illi is upset they aren't at the senior prom.But I watched Stony play a few times and there good in their conf....but outside...they played 3 teams a step above..St peters beat them by 21,Johnnies by 8 and that was when the Johnnies were terrible,and URI by 17. If Illi can't beat this Long Island team by double d's something is wrong...again I'm aware of good teams being disappointed about not dancing...
tonite I'll compare the two teams...
Illi -6 over Stone ******* I could keep going....maybe the players voted not to play in this game...and they forced them....maybe they got them to NY by telling them they got tickets to Broadways Jersey Boys tonite....any of you from the Lincoln state have any inside info please share...

Jumped on Fairfield with you Box and was freakin out at half time. The half time line was Fairfield -3 1/2 so I thought I would try to get some $ back since they were down so much and I thought I had lost the game bet already. What a second half and cover. Won them both.

Watched Weber's post game comments.Words like sadness madness,disappointment,etc..not being selected..losing 4 of last 5..but Illi beat Wisky in the B-10 tourney and then lost to Ohio St in double OT.

Stony is a young team playing 3 or 4 freshman.These kids are good with Dougher and El-Amin pretty good gds.EL was named AE POY avg 16 pts.Brenton a 6'5 soph is a g/f and there leading rebounder.Seawolves aren't a big scoring team but play solid defense.But they are no match for Illi.Stony really doesn't have a pt gd.
Illi has 1st team McCamey a solid pt gd avg 15 pts a game and 6 apg's.His partner is a frosh Richardson who avg's 10 pts.Illi has a big advantage at the gds...But its the front court where these two teams aren't even close.Tisdale is 7'1 and has the 15 ft shot from the outside. Davis is another 6'9 inside player that is athletic and avg's 10 pts.These two guys plus 6'9 Cole should dominate inside.Stopping Tisdale will be there problem because when you stop his inside game he goes outside.Stopping McCamey could be a bigger problem...
Stony is a defensive team...this is a terrible matchup because Illi is so much faster,stronger,bigger,quicker,etc,etc
Stony is 12-1 at home in little Pritchard Gym that seats 1,600..Illi probably practices in gyms bigger then that and might have more people come out and watch.
Think Illi is upset about not going to the real prom but like Weber said//what better way to prove the NCAA"s guys were wrong then winning the NIT's.Illini wins this by double d's....I don't have POY's etc but its the most boxes I've played all year...

Like Appa here at home.Sims is an outstanding gd and Butts at 6'10 280 gives the Crimson matchup problems.These guys can stick the 3,rebound well and are great FT's shooters.Lin is awesome for Harvard but he doesn't have enough around him.

Hofstra -4 over INDPU **
I know PU can score,has one of the best FG% in the country,can shoot from all over but the Pride have Jenkins the Col POY.Vines,Lester,Kana etc will carry them for a home victory.
