Just scheduled my appointment to start the process of removing the bullets from my chamber...

For those who have done it, 2 questions...

1) How long did it take until you were back on your feet (IE - how much time should I take off of work)

2) How long was it before you are back in the game???

Wife wants me to have it done too. I am going to wait until next year's march madness. have it done Thurs morning, then off to watch the rest of the games.

Schedule early b/c that is the peak time to have it done for this very reason.

Nice Plan!
Put this one in the memory bank for future use.

Had it done couple years ago. Went in on Friday.Doc says don`t do shit on Saturday. I wish I`d listen, payed for it on Sunday and Monday. Went back to work on Wednesday.

Really need to take it easy the next day, watch tv,read a book, just soak up the couch man, milk it for what its worth. Don`t even walk up a set of stairs, if you do your just makin it rough the next day. Believe me.

Take a couple pillows with ya to ride on back home. You`ll thank me later.

You want be in no hurry to get back in the ballgame. Good luck.

You guys have more balls than me.
Which is ironic considering the area we are speaking of.

It's a snap. I have to lift heavy people at work, and I just coordinated mine around a 2 day off period in my schedule. I never had any problem. One of the best decisions I ever made was to to have that done. Nothing to it.

My plan, as well. Going to try to schedule for opening morning of the tourney next year , and will watch ball the entire weekend......

Had mine done about 5 years ago. Frozen peas will definitely be your best friend for the first two days. I took a little longer to recoup, the Dr. said it's because my ball sak needs a lift. I asked how long I would be down for that and he said it would be about the same as the vasectomy. Let's just say my ball sak still needs a lift. Just can't wear boxers when doing yard work anymore............Best thing I ever did, unfortunately I should have had it done sooner, but that's a story for another day.

Just have a couple bags of peas so you can rotate them.

Mine is on Thursday.:scared kurby  :mj08:
Had the big "V" done this morning. Worst part about the procedure was the anxiety and the needle to do the numbing. Took about 20mins. Didnt feel anything after the numbing. Now just trying to stay ahead of the discomfort with painkillers. Back to the couch.:(
