well when I first came back to MJ's and posted the NBA i got trounced so I took a leave of absence and decided to wait until I have more time....that time is now and I ease back into it...so buyer beware

Three Units: Knicks +6.5

(moneyline too)

No George Karl tonight and I look for the Nuggets to abuse the fact that he is gone and look right past this game. The Knicks are looking ahead to Melo and company since he torched them last time there. In fact I see a big red circle around this game for the Knicks. Players are asking to step up to play against Anthony and look for some physical play. normally I would suggest to pass on any game involving the Knicks but I will tune into this one.....

One unit: Washington +6.5
The Cats are playing like crap, so are the Wiz but covering this many points on the road is asking a bit too much.

Nice call on both????

OT is part of the game.....The final score is what counts.

Personally, If I have the fav and win in overtime I feel lucky and if I have the dog and lose in overtime, I feel screwed.

Yes, but he handicapped it correctly. These were even teams through regulation. If he had taken the fav, it would have been luck not correct handicapping. Let me give you another example, the Ole Miss/Texas Tech game was 22 points under the total at the end of regulation last night only to see the game go to double overtime. That is spot on handicapping. No way you can predict overtime. You win some, you lose some.

I`m not disrespecting the guys picks at all.....My point is.....If your not on the winning side when the buzzer sounds...That means you were on the WRONG SIDE...You lose the bet.....Period and bottom line......I dont care if your team missed 20 free throws and lost by 1 point.....I dont care if your team was going in for the covering touchdown and fumbled the ball at the 1 yard line....I dont care if your baseball team was winning 7-0 and lost 8-7 on a pitchers balk.....Save yourself an ulcer and heartache......Forget about what happens during the game.....And just look at the final score....And move on win or lose.....Good luck!

I have to say that these are all things I would take into account when handicapping the next game with the same two teams or a similar situation. I'm sure I'm not the only one who does that and thats one reason why what happens in the game IS important. It should also be noted that by going back and looking at the gameflow chart, you would see that the Wiz were either leading or within 6 points for the entire 4 qtrs until overtime. You just can't cap overtime. IMO Sneaks had an accurate read on the game, spot on in fact, and it just so happens that the Wiz plus the points, which was the right side for 51 minutes of the game, was the losing end of a bad break. So I respectfully disagree with you Kid. Sneaks did a fine job of handicapping this one (both games it should be added).
