Well I figure why not? If there is any time to bet spring training (IMO) it's now because starters are going longer and the starters are playing lineup. (Ex: Cain went 6 IP yesterday)

Since I was so cold in hoops I thought that the Spring could warm me up :D

I won't make picks for another hour or so until the starting lineups are announced---

Here is some info for today's game.

Braves: Tim Hudson will get his first look at the Phillies on Wednesday, when the Braves return to Disney to face the reigning National League champs at 1:05 p.m. ET in a game that will be streamed live on MLB.TV. While allowing just three earned runs in the 14 innings he has completed this exhibition season, Hudson has strengthened his belief that he will be better than he was before missing most of last year while recovering from Tommy John surgery. Takashi Saito and Jo-Jo Reyes, who is battling for a bullpen spot, are also scheduled to pitch. J.A. Happ is to start for the Phillies.

Phillies: Catcher Carlos Ruiz returns to the Phillies' lineup live on MLB.TV at 1:05 p.m. ET on Wednesday against the Braves at Champion Stadium in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. He had missed the past few games with the flu. Left-hander J.A. Happ and right-handers Ryan Madson, David Herndon and Danys Baez also are scheduled to pitch.

Tampa Bay / Toronto Blue Jays
Jeff Niemann will start for the Rays when they host the Blue Jays on Wednesday at Charlotte Sports Park at 1:05 p.m. Tampa Bay's No. 3 starter is having a good spring at 1-0 with a 3.14 ERA in four games. Also expected to see action are Dale Thayer, Randy Choate and Rafael Soriano. Dana Eveland will start for Toronto. Also scheduled to work for the Blue Jays are: Casey Janssen, Jeremy Accardo and Shawn Camp.

more info

Houston
Up next: The Astros' road trip continues on Wednesday, when they travel to Port St. Lucie, Fla., to face the Mets at 12:10 p.m. CT on MLB.TV. Casey Daigle, a non-roster relief pitcher, will get the start for the Astros, whose rotation got jumbled because of Sunday's rainout. Outfielders Hunter Pence and Carlos Lee, who didn't travel with the team to Bradenton on Tuesday, are scheduled to make the trip to face the Mets. Jeff Fulchino, Matt Lindstrom and Tim Byrdak are also scheduled to throw for Houston.

Mets:
Johan Santana, the Mets' Opening Day starter designate, makes his fourth exhibition game start -- also available live on MLB.TV -- opposite Casey Daigle when the Mets play the Astros in Port St. Lucie on Wednesday, beginning at 1:10 p.m. Jon Niese, who had all but one inning of his most recent scheduled start rained out Sunday, is to follow Santana.

Pirates: Closer Octavio Dotel will finally make his Grapefruit League debut on Wednesday when the Pirates face the Red Sox at 1:05 p.m. ET at McKechnie Field. Dotel was scheduled to pitch on Sunday, but the game was rained out. He has pitched two scoreless innings in two Minor League appearances so far. Paul Maholm will make the start on Wednesday and is expected to throw 80 pitches. D.J. Carrasco, Brendan Donnelly and Javier Lopez will also pitch in relief.

Red Sox: The Red Sox will travel to Bradenton, Fla., for a 1:05 p.m. game Wednesday against the Pirates. Ace Josh Beckett will pitch there for the second consecutive start. Victor Martinez, Jacoby Ellsbury, Mike Cameron and Mike Lowell are scheduled to be among the position players on the trip. Lowell is slated to start at first base.

Twins: The Twins will host the Marlins at Hammond Stadium in a 12:05 p.m. CT contest on Wednesday. Right-hander Kevin Slowey is scheduled to make his fourth start (fifth appearance) of the spring. Slowey has allowed just one earned run over 11 innings.

Marlins: The Marlins will pack up for a two-day trip to Fort Myers, Fla., where they'll play the Twins and Red Sox on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. Both games will start at 1:05 p.m. Starting for Florida on Wednesday will be a slimmed-down Anibal Sanchez, who lost weight this offseason and looks to be the No. 3 starter in the rotation (though nothing has been officially announced). Sanchez has given up seven earned runs in 13 1/3 spring innings (a 4.73 ERA), spanning four starts.

Orioles: The Orioles will stay put at Roger Dean Stadium for a 1:05 p.m. ET game on MLB.TV against the Cardinals on Wednesday. Starting for Baltimore will be young left-hander Brian Matusz, who's been impressive thus far. Matusz sports a 2.51 ERA in 14 1/3 innings this spring. Following him will be Jim Johnson, Will Ohman and Mike Gonzalez. Gonzalez, bothered by lower back tightness recently, tossed a scoreless seventh inning on Sunday and said he expects to be at 100 percent by Wednesday.

St. Louis: The Cardinals are off on Tuesday before returning to Jupiter, Fla., on Wednesday to face the Orioles on MLB.TV at 12:05 p.m. Rich Hill will start for St. Louis, with Kyle McClellan also scheduled to pitch. Hill and McClellan could be making their last appearances before the team decides on who the fifth starter will be. They're competing with Garcia.

Baltimore +115

Rich Hill is is 1-1 with a 6.43 ERA in Grapefruit League action, and very hittable. O's throw a youngster that is looking sweet (left-hander Brian Matusz) and he will be followed by some solid arms for the O's. Just waiting for the lineups to make it official.

Tampa Bay -140

Chalk in MLB can kill ya but I like the Rays here. Niemann has had a solid spring and i like the rest of the rotation today with Dale Thayer, Randy Choate and Rafael Soriano. I like the lineup with Rodriquez batting last and hitting .425 in the spring.

Pirates +130

The Pirates seem to have the better team on the field to me today. The sox lineup goes about four deep before the youngsters take over and Beckett is so-so in the spring.

Phillies +110
Last play for the early games, Hudson is looking sharp but I will side with Happ in this one and the back end of a rotation that seems stronger. I like RUiz being back behind the plate and think that is a good think for the Phils.
