I would agree with most of the last part of your comments, turf, but there is liability on both sides of the media fence. To simply call out the "left-wing" media on this is pretty simple, considering the kind of stuff the right-wing talking heads have been tossing out there of late - which IS fueling some of these actions by people (fringe people, yes.)

One thing that bugs me about the conservative politicians I've heard since yesterday - every one saying they don't believe the behavior and violence is correct - every one of them - has followed that up with "BUT", the dems have brought it on themselves and should expect it by what they have done. They should NOT expect it, nor should it be mentioned in that way - it just condones it in a very real sense. Again - I don't care which side is doing these things.

At some point, we'll have to make tough decisions. We'll have to stop fighting the wars that really, honestly, don't have that much affect on American lives unless you are the one fighting the war. We'll have to cut back on defense. We'll have to focus everything we have on cutting EVERYTHING, to get our financial house in some sort of perspective. And we'll all have to agree we have to do that across the board, or it won't work.
