Need some hockey help....

In a 2010 NHL playoff pool.
looking for some help here in MJ's....there are 6 groups.. I can pick one person in each group..then add 4 players that are not listed...not to good in hockey...if one of you guys can help...goals only count..not assists or points

who would you take...
Group 1
Crosby-Kovalchuck-Marleau-Ovechkin

Group 2---Heatley-Malkin-Parise-Semin
Group 3---Backstrom-carter-Datsyuk-Sedin
group 4---Burrows-Hornqvist-Kopitar-Richards
group 5 ---Sedin-kane-samuelson-Vanek
Group 6 --Gionta,Stempniak-Knuble-Stewart

now the toughest for me..pick 4 others not listed..
Should I take players from washington like Green..teams that will go far...I know san Jose,Capitals, and Pitt are favored to be in the finals...I couldn't name one player after the above group except some rangers and devils...how about zajac of the devils..need some help..going against some ringers..would love to beat these guys...is someone hot who isn't in the 6 groups...thanks..

thanks..its due Wed am....its about 30 teachers that are all into hockey big time...they make fun of me 24-7 because of college hoops and football...also pro baseball and football.....they gave me the form the other day and laughed...said " we would like your money..we know you don't know anyone..". As they left my office I yelled " where is Bobby Orr...I don't see him on the list"...

As for picks, it goes without saying that you'd want to pick players that will be on teams that make the finals. Yes I know, no shit

With that being said here are the teams I like to "do some damage":

As for the "other 4"......that is tough, I'd choose 2 players from the team you think will win the west. And two players from the team you think will win the east.

Washington does not make it to the conference finals, think the Pens do, the way that Crosby closed out the season, and Malkin seems to have his legs back, Fluery is the most proven winner in playoffs the past two years :shrug:

Really like Van/Chic winner to go to finals and Wash to go out of the East. GL sounds like a cool pool.

Love you guys....wow...sorry didn't get back to you.
Box and one has 2 entries in this pool...41 teachers....55 entries...I put 2 teams in at $50 per team.....everyone has made fun of me since I'm all about basketball and football...." thank's box for your donation" is how my fellow brothers treated me as I handed over the money.And when I said I want two entries they all laughed harder..Told them I got some friends that know their hockey.They laughed even louder.And boy..did my friends know their game.....hell yes... I sit in 1st place and 3rd place...out of 55 teams....
And I have Kane,Toews,Gagne and Cammalleri alive....on my 1st place team and 3 of them on the 3rd place team....and 3 of those guys were on the added team...awesome job...only Kane was on a group team..the rest added..thank you.

Most of the guys in the Groups are out..the guy who is in 2nd place has Gionta and Kane ...

I've been wondering if you grabbed Jonathon Toews as one of your wild card selections.
So glad you did. He should be the playoffs leading scorer.
I see Chicago as the best team left and he's already in first by a couple of points.
He's having a great playoffs as he did in the regular season. Great player and scorer.

Hope you grab the top two spots. You deserve it for all the help you give us in hoops.

Btw, do you handicap the WNBA? If so, would love to see your picks.
