Padres number looks too easy.Doug Davis is fade material and Padres are hot whereas Milw is not.So why is Padres only -130?I know they are traveling from Florida but still,jet lag sets in tomorrow.This is also a 4 game series.Want to pound Padres and continue fading sorry ass Davis but this looks scary.However I can see Padres winning this one and dropping next 2 and winning last.Any thoughts?

I'm on the Pads tonight, but I could see reasons to NOT play them:
- teams often struggle in their first game back at home after a road trip
- LeBlanc is probably pitching over his head a bit so far this year.
- The Pads, in general, are probably overachieving right now, and the Brewers are underachieving. Meaning, these two teams are probably more equal in talent then the start of the season would indicate, and I think the Brewers may even be the better team when all is said and done.
Like I said I'm on the Pads, but I don't think them winning is a given by any means.

Nah, point well taken. I'm sure you know LeBlanc better than I do. I wasn't implying he's bad at all, I just don't remember him being this good last year. And Davis is REALLY bad, so they definitely have the pitching edge.
Davis sucks and Brewers have fire power but just aren't doing it right now.I always like the dog in game 1 of a 4 game set but hate playing with Davis.Said I would fade his every start and now I'am questioning it.Sure wish Padres were -150,this total seems way too low as well.Best to stay away and watch as Padres win.Most should be trying for return of Milw money.Fuck it NO playin this game as hard as it is to me.Atleast for now.I fully expect Davis to be out of rotation after this start,or headed to DL with some BS injury.

Davis has been horrendous so far this year but I am not willing to back the pads as a fav vs a lefty.
Thanks for all the responses but I ended up staying away from this game all together.Wanted to play Padres & Over but couldn't do it.
Padres always have an Under at home but I will hope I don't miss it tonight and hopefully capitalize on it tomorrow.However GL if it hits tonight.
understand that concept too... Davis has been stinky... so far... careerwise, he's done quite well vs SD.
