I've given my analysis on the spread tonight in others' threads. (Essentially, I like Boston but am a bit worried about the refs.)
I haven't seen a ton of predictions (or write-ups) on the total tonight though. I just think that 193 is too low (and if you can find 192', all the better). I feel that both teams will bring it tonight on offense, and breaking down the possible outcomes, it just seems all too plausible in any scenario:
So in conclusion, I feel like all sides point to an Over. I admit, I hate being on Boston and the Over, as I'm sure I'm completely siding with the public, but sometimes we as bettors overanalyze, the ball just bounces the way it appears it "should".
...Think I'm feeling this one boys. Just a premonition, but I suppose that's what this board is for...

- Very close game all the way through: Obviously, lots of free throws, lots of timeouts, even potential OT with a 1 point line. This type of game, regardless of outcome, points to an over for inherent reasons.
- Celts win fairly convincingly: Though this would likely entail a solid defensive performance by Boston (a strike against my pick...), but I still think they'd get a least a couple guys absolutely hot given their strong starting 5 and a pretty deep bench (Say Pierce and Rondo combine for 50, a couple bench guys get 8-10, I feel the rest will get made up for between Allen, Garnett, Perkins, etc.) Moreover, a Celtic lead in the late game means a lot of 3-points attempts by Cleveland.
- Cavs win fairly convincingly: Seems to me this would require Lebron to go off, a good amount of transition game, solid overall team shooting percentage, and/or a heavy Shaq presence in the paint. Also, don't forget that Lebron has straight up said he's going to get aggressive... could be lots of fouls. I simply refuse to believe that Boston will fall flat with the crown they'll have backing them tonight.
