Last year was a very different Il year than I've seen in the past. Here are my rules for IL and I've been very lucky over the years. Lood for

H Favs first
RF second
HT third
Be careful playing RDs
Totals usually come out about even
The team that wins game 1 wins the series. (this has been consistant over the years.) I look for a game 1 winner that lost game 2 and is the fav in game 3. Prefer that it be the ht.

Last year the AL totally dominated IL play. Only 4 NL teams had winning records. Colo only played 15 games but was the top NL team with a 11-4 record. Ana was the top AL team with a 14-4 record. Pit, Stl, Fla were the only other NL teams with winning records.

Good luck to us this year.

Last night was vintage IL. If you had played a HF it would have been hard to lose. Here's the breakdown

HF 8-1
RF 2-3
HT 11-3
Totals 6-7-1

Today I'm looking at game 1 winners that are the fav today and have help. Preferably the ht.

See my Sat post.

Sunday plays....

Sunday plays....

gsp, quoting your statement from friday...

"I look for a game 1 winner that lost game 2 and is the fav in game 3. Prefer that it be the ht."

that list for today would be:
Philly
StL
Tex
Kc
Yanks (only road team)
Sea

I gotta like StL, Tex, Philly, Kc, Yanks....

not sure about much else... you?

In all the years I've been doing this, I've never seen IL game 3 go like yesterday. The help kept me from getting killed. Only played and lost one par. Didn't straight be anything.

Game 3

HF 3-6
RF 3-2
HT 5-9
Totals 8-5-1

Series 1

HF 17-10
RF 7-6
HT 23-19
Tot 21-19-2

Teams that won game 1 wins series 7-7

The worst I've seen in the past was 9-5. There were 6 game 1 winners that were favs yesterday and only Stl won. HF that won game 1 and lost game 2 went 1-4.

Oak was the only team to sweep, two times as the dog

NL was 9-5

If you followed the system for IL you should have been ahead going into yesterday. I really liiked Tx but not the juice. Should have stayed off NYY for three reasons. I would still lost my par because of TX but might have saved someone some money. I have a system play that is 6-1 going into last night calling for the Mets. If you follow the umps you would have seen that the ump was 7-0 this season for the rt. You might have missed that he was also 5-2 for the dog. I felt that the line was too low with a ump that was 7-0 for the rt but when you want a three teamer and only have two plays you make mistakes. Next IL series should be real interesting.
