Joker this months special bonus
Earn 5% Cashback Bonus on up to $200 in purchases throughout June at Restaurants. :0008

cash back bonus balance $412.32 :0corn

we whack out a grand or two every month...might be worth looking into...

when they say,"cash back",do they put it toward your future purchases on the card?...does it accumulate until a certain date?...or do you actually get a check?

Vinnie, what is the average % of cash back do you get with the Discover card?

We average around 2% but you need sign up for the 5% Cashback Bonus programs that run every month or you only get 1%

vinnie, I was stupid in capital letters, the cards market them and we see 100's of advertisements daily, they are everywhere, congrats if you never fell into the trap. I DID not ashamed to admit it that is why they have the biggest buildings in the city. First step out is admitting and recognizing the trap, don't make us a bad, just stupid and understand the trap now, stub your toe and down you go if you don't pay off in full every month, gonna stop typing and read the rest of the thread :)

well I will add the reason AR is looking is becasue Cheetah, er Capital One, shot the rate thru the roof, why, tons of defaults and bankruptcy on unsecured credit, so the adverse selection of the best credit risks left will get to pay higher rates to cover the losses of those that filed CH 7 & CH 11, or settled for a reduced amount. Check out a web site about walking away, google " Just Walk Away" should take you to a site of how to dump the McMansion and get the monkey off your back. Wrong sure it is, Criminal? Nope and those that have 20 to 60 percent negative equity are walking. Same thing in cards, those left have bigger fees, higher rates and sharper traps if they stub a toe and can't pay.
