I don't think the 3 point attempt with a minute to go was the best choice, but the announcers were rather obnoxious about it. They kept saying Lakers could have ran out the clock but there was a minute left and a one possession game.

Not the decision I would have made, but certainly not the dumbest move I've ever seen.

I thought the shot clock was pretty low on the first one but never saw a replay of how much. The second shot, with 22 sec's on shot clock....downright horrible for so many reasons.

Could have got it down to 40 sec's. You've got a 3-pt lead. You've got the best player on the planet, not to mention Fisher and others. Just a stupid decision and then after redeeming himself, won't own up to it, prob b/c he's too stupid to understand the situation.

Had an assload on the Suns +10 (bought it up) and didn't want to see OT so I loved the ending, plus I really like the Lakers.

Was a horrible decision and even if it was Kobe with the same look....would have been bad, just not quite as bad.

I totally see your point. The smart play is to run the clock. The announcer interviewing him just rubbed me the wrong way.

Congrats on hitting your play. Hope it was a large one! :toast:

It was. Thanks.

It amazed me that Reggie Miller said it was a good decision. I don't know...it was a huge rebound and all you have to do is throw it to Kobe, milk clock, and even if you don't score you are in great position down the stretch.

But I can see how the announcer rubbed you the wrong way. I just wish Artest had said, yeah I should have pulled the ball out and moved on.
