I just have to share this story. It's fn crazy.
My Wife's parents divorced when she was young. Her Mother re-married when she was 40 to a 24 year old man. For as long as I've been with my wife (19 years total dating and married), He for all intense of purpose has been my father-in law and the Grandfather to my children for the past 8 years. Long story short, after 24 years of marriage, this guy is now history, out of the life of my family and myself.
There has been "issues" for the past several months, but they had been trying to work it out. That all came to and end yesterday, as my mother in law found out he has been seeing another woman.
Here's the crazy part. My wife has a childhood friend who works with the Guy and it just so happends his mistress works at the same place too. He had no idea this co worker knew my wife.
She spilled the beans to her and of course she told her mother asap. At this point is was more of a rumor the my mother in law didn't want to believe. Last night , this same gal calls my wife, says He checked into a Hotel with his mistress! My wife was like " How in the hell do you know this?" Of all the damn Hotels in town he could have used, He picks the one that has this Gal's sister working the check in desk. She recognized him. My wife of course calls her mom right away, and what does she do? Yep, heads to the Hotel. When she arrives, her Husband and mistress are out picking up a pizza. She shows ID as the wife of the guy who checked in and gets a room key! She waited until the came back and let me tell you, he had the shock of his life! Lets just say the cops were called at this point...
If you were waiting for a puch line, there isnt one. This is a true story.
Too bad, because he was a great grandfather to my kids.
