So. Cal
when they dim the lights before the games and play the music

Totally agree. Absolutely no flow in this game or the first. Sucks.

Celtics deserved this game more tonight and after the FT difference they deserved a call to boot.

Horrible calls both ways. Ridiculous fouls on Kobe really changed the game. A lot of mystery calls on Lakers tonight. I guess NBA wants 1-1...

I agree the calls were horrible both ways but mystery calls on the Lakers?

Garnett was hit with some ridiculous fouls as well and Boston overcame it.

The NBA had nothing to do with this being 1-1.

Rondo and Allen did.

Just stinks to see this many tic tac calls, and LA had some too, Artest's sixth wasn't a foul nor was Kobe's fourth. It would be nice to know this is the way the game is going to be called, because even though it didn't go over by much it is hard to stay under a total with this many free throws each game.

North of Titletown AKA Boston
The NBA should be embarrassed after these two games!!

Refs dictated the tempo of both games... No tempo..

Horrible calls both ways...

Let them PLAY... it's that easy...

Maybe Phil Jackson should shut his pie hole about how the refs call games against the other teams superstar every new series.

I'll start by throwing out the disclaimer that I didn't see the whole game, so it's entirely possible that the Lakers got a lot more calls (which is normal for the home team, BTW). Having said that, if the refs really "wanted" the Lakers to win, they wouldn't have called that fourth foul on Kobe. He didn't even touch Ray Ray and the ref just fell for the acting job. Also, the fifth foul on Kobe was QUESTIONABLE at best, as Davis took two steps up while Kobe was in the air so he could get in position to draw the charge.

I didn't have money on the Lakers and, if anything, I would probably rather see the C's win. But to say the refs obviously were trying to give the Lakers the game is a bit silly considering some of those fouls on Kobe, IMO.

I don't like stars being protected from fouls and I know it happened. But this was like the exact opposite and made no sense.

Its like they went out of their way to give Kobe fouls and it also took points away. Iffy call on the charge where Kobe bumped Allen and he made the shot. Allen fouls Kobe to steal, then falls out of bounds. Not only huge call on Kobe but took away possession.

But yeah, bad calls both way, just hated the fouls on Kobe and thought that really did Lakers in.

A really bad call that everyone saw coming was the charge Fisher took after Kobe's charge. Blatant makeup call that Fisher knew he'd get.
