what about iced tea then?

what about iced tea then?

i'm a soda addict--and have recently tried to wean myself off of soda onto water, in the meantime drinking iced tea, with essentially the same amount of sugar, though no carbonation... by descript--its exactly the same as lemonade (at least that kind) as a high sugary replacement. the bottle i have in my hand now, is a snapple 20oz and has 52g of sugar and has easily replaced my need for soda, though i go through roughly 5-7 a day... though it is a tea. lemonade then would be, lemon tea.... only the ade part came from it being a cool refreshment during hot summers.

i dont think its a soda.

though honestly, he'll sooooooo get tired of just lemonade... i did.

and that tip o the cap guy :0008 getting entirely too much love/overkill up in here :nono:

Yeah, I agree. Just because something has a lot of calories or a lot of sugar doesn't make it soda. My guess is that this guy made the bet because he knew had an 'out' with things like lemonade, limeade, etc.

Even if he wins the battle, he won't win the war. This dude's heart is going to blow up like a pinata someday drinking all that sugar. :scared

He should be allowed to drink lemonade.

But since he didn't recycle (saw four cans in trash) then he should be docked accordingly.

Also, what idiot makes a bet that you can't drink Fruit Drinks AND all pop/soda.

Fuck he better be allowed to drink Gatorade:shrug:

Maybe I read it wrong, but I think the bet was he couldn't drink juice unless it was mixed with water. But most of, if not all, juices and Gatorade have water in them, so my guess is he probably had that in mind when he made the bet. But shit, even if he wins the bet he's going to be miserable. I'm sure Tigerfan will have a lot of fun watching him squirm. :142smilie

"the bunker"
A guy i work with was saying he drinks 6 cokes a day. - I bet him $100 he could not drink less than 20cokes or other soda type drinks in a year. He could not even have fruit juice unless it was mixed with water.

The other day he was drinking canned Limonade and I said it counted towards his 20 in a year because it had 300 calories in it. He disagrred after he put down his fourth of the day.

So the question is is the canned/bottle limonade count as a coke/soda type drink.

Thanks for your input

:0008 Good day

how you gonna verify this?...

It counts. It adds to blood sugar no matter if he thinks it counts or not.
