Isner/Mahut is the greatest sporting event in history of sports

Take away "country versus country" and nothing in the history of sport compares to the Isner/Mahut match.

As I said, if you take away "country vs country" match-ups (like Maximillian Schmeling vs. Joe Louis, etc.) nothing comes close to this.

This is not only the greatest pro tennis match in the history of tennis but the greatest sporting contest ever.

Oh and one more thing.......as I type this....it ain't over:scared


This is like an NBA game going 30 overtimes, or a NHL playoff game going 25 overtimes. A golf match-up going 100 extra holes.

These two guys are so mentally tough, they might be able to solve the Middle East conflict.

Watched alot of the 5th set yesterday. Absolutely amazing. How are they going to play today? Both have to be extremely sore and spent. By the way, Isner is a Dawg, sic em !! Mahut cannot be French, must be a typo.
