They were discontinued back when Nestle pushed the Tollhouse sandwich and Dreyers grabbed them.

Finding a "REAL" Chipwich these days is like finding Jimmy Hoffa.

So we just have to look underneath Meadowlands Stadium?

This is kind of a funny story. I talked to my friend last night who worked for Pepsi as a merchandiser for over 10 years and was laid off back in early May.

It was fuuny he mentioned Dreyer''s last night as all I could think of is the Chipwich when he said it.

He told me last night that he applied for a same merchandising position with Dreyer's and got an interview in the middle of May. He said it went well and the guy liked him for 1 of his 3 open merchandising spots and would be in touch.
He never heard back in next week or so and he decided to call the guy. Dreyer's guy said he still had about 30 interviews to do before deciding on the 3 spots.
My buddy said he never heard and called back last week and the guy said he is still doing some interviews, but the spots were still open.

On Monday he got a email from Dreyer's has decided to cancel the 3 merchandising positions.

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS COMPANY DOING???
First they get rid of the Chipwich and now they waste an empolyees time with some 30+ interviews for positions you cancel? Nice time management.

Well I was at Walmart and came across this little number:

Chips%20Galore%20copy.gif

So I just had one of these bad boys and now for the review.

It is by FAR the best product Blue Bunny has.
I found it better than the Nestle Tollhouse.

Next time you are in a Walmart then I suggest to go grab one if you are a Chipwich fan. This is as close to a Chipwich as you are gonna get these days. Also individual one is only $1 at Walmart. How can you go wrong?

Also.....worth noting that if any madjacker buys Dreyer's I will hunt you down like Jack Bauer on crack.

You buy Dreyer's...you die

Just watching King of Queens on TBS and Kevin James is trying to get change for the vending machine at the hospital because he is dying for a Chipwich.

Good stuff.

That's the episode with Chris Elliott and the twisted colon, right? Heeeey Twisty!

There's another KOQ episode where they are at Shea and Carrie buys a Cool-a-Coo for Arthur. Kind of ironic since Cool-a-Coos were a Dodger Stadium -- a mere 3,000 miles away.

That's the one.
Kevin James must have said Chipwich 10 times in the episode.

I've seen just about every episode of that show. I think there were a few from the last season I may have missed, but it's one of those shows that's on so damn much it's pretty hard not to see it.

As for the Chipwich references, there is a certain Madjacks member in Toronto who is drooling uncontrollably right now and he doesn't know why.

For those dying for one then these are the closest you are gonna come.
I have banged out about 8 of these since posting so I guess you can figure how I feel about them.

everytime I see there is a new post in this thread, I have this feeling that someone was over at their crazy old aunt's house that keeps stuff for way too long. When low and behold, they went to her freezer and found a chipwich that was a few years old.

still think that is going to happen eventually...
