I ask myself this question.......
Should this garbage Cubs team 34-44....3-7 last 10 be favored over this hot Reds team 44-35...7-3 last 10 and in 1st place to boot.
My answer would be no....
In my opinion this game should be more like a pick...-102....Not the Cubs -134.
I understand Carlos Silva is 8-2 with a 3.01 era......I also understand that the Reds are starting a rookie pitcher in Travis Wood.
Last night the Angels were only -115 against the Rangers....The Rangers were starting a rookie in Omar Beltre.....The Cubs are double that plus.
Come on now.....The Cubs just lost 2 of 3 to the Pirates...They scored 4 runs in 3 games.
By the way the public is split on this game 50/50.
I think the Cubs are favored for a reason.
I also believe in let downs......And that was a huge win by the Reds yesterday.....They beat a great pitcher in Roy Halladay with a late 2 run homer in the bottom of the 8th.
The Chicago Cubs -134 are the play today...Letdown angle or being favored angle....Whatever.
