Talks are heating up (yeah, we've heard it before) for the Manny Pacquiao / Floyd Mayweather Jr fight.

Actually everyone has stopped talking and many insiders say that is because a deal is done.

Do you guys think that the fight will happen?

My real question is what will the tickets cost on Stub hub or ebay?

I'm guessing it'll cost me $1000.00 to sit in the nosebleeds.

I enjoy boxing - but I admit I don't follow it that closely.

Wondering why this fight is even a big deal since FM Jr. is undefeated and Manny has like 3 losses and two draws......

Seems like a weak card to me.......

new jersey
outrageous, 1,000$ for a nosebleed, or 60$ for an HD viewing on the comfort of your own couch :mj03: :mj03:

Manny already said he would agree to the blood testing 14 days out.

Manny said his next fight is Nov 13th. I guess that always could be pushed back.

I don't have any better chance that you. I'm figuring that I'll have to buy scalped tickets.

Most boxing fans would consider it the biggest fight in decades. It would be hard for the fight to live up to the hype. But I've always wanted to go to see a HUGE fight in Vegas. Since the heavyweights aren't doing anything these days this will be it for a while.

Two of Manny's losses and both his draws were when he was a kid. And his other loss is to Eric Morales, who is a future hall of famer and is someone Manny knocked out twice.

These two are easily the two best fighters in the world and it's really a toss up fight.

I personally think you should save your money and order it on ppv. You'll see the same kind of crowd for big fights as you do at the Super Bowl. Bunch of rich people who don't really care about the event but just want to be seen.

I know. It is just something that I've always wanted to do. I guess I'll just wait to see IF the fight happens and how much tickets are.

I might book a room for 11/13 just in case though.

i admire you being able to get to vegas(maybe you live there?) and being willing to shell out a grand for a ticket...personally,i`m with joz...i wouldn`t...but i`m sure it would be a once in a lifetme experience...

this would be the biggest fight in a very long time...a major, major sports event....

i`ve alwaya suspected that manny was a juicer....and i believe that`s why he`s reticent to go the olympic testing route...mosely admitted to using...and he agreed...

it`s not practical on an economic level to do this type of testing on a wide scale in boxing...but i don`t blame mayweather(who`s a schmuck) for making the fight conditional on manny testing...i certainly would do the same thing....

just my opinion..
