What makes you happy?

And by "happy", I don't mean "not pissed off".

You don't seem biased in your displeasure based on political affiliation or other common factors.

Just wondering what brings you joy.

Feel free not to respond, too. :)

As a side note, I find many of your postings pretty enlightening while others seem over the top (but I don't know shinola).

My kids make me happy when they visit me or I visit them in Oregon.

I enjoy the pistol and rifle range, duh !

I coach a 10-12 basketball team and I really enjoy that.

Loud and obnoxious music is good. Maiden,Priest, Megadeth, and the like. Saturday nights at one of the local casinos there is a cover band that plays at what they call the Rockyard.

During this oppressive heat in the summer I try to get out of here once every 3 weeks to the coast.

Yes I do have a GF but I leave her out of the dealings here.

Yes I do realize I am VERY JADED, it doesn't help my headaches, and it may seem hard to believe that I can find a way to have a good time. I do, I rarely watch anything "popular" if I do it's sports, other than that it' History, Discovery, NatGeo or Military Channel.

I will answer any question to the best of my ability asked of me.

I am a fan of Lumi, and his sugar-free protein supplement.

Don't forget to remove your tin hat on the way out of the door, Lumi. The kids will be alright with it, but you know how parents can be;)
