Seriously? I would like to see you justify that with a player to player comparison and still say the Lakers are better. The only edge I would give the Lakers is coaching, but everyone know that IF this happens, Erik Spoelstra is going to develop some "family problems" and Pat Riley will be coach again. Then there is little to no edge...

I hate to argue with you because it's not worth my time but here's what we know. Miami has nobody but those three if LBJ signs. Chalmers at pg we know, oh boy. Kobe is better than Wade. LBJ is better than whoever the Lakers have. IMO Gasol is better than Bosh. I'm not sure how much people here have watched Bosh but he's not someone who is going to get them points down low. Gasol would use and abuse Bosh down low all day long. Bynum is better than their center, do you even know who they have at center? Lakers bench is better hands down. Who can Miami sign, they have no money at all and no players. I'm not sure if you've looked at how it shakes out but they seriously will have to go for bottom feeders for the rest of their roster.

The other big reason is chemistry. LBJ and Wade both need the ball in their hands to make plays. Well, they're only so much to go around. Bosh isn't going to do anything special, he's not a great rebounder. He gets the rebounds he's suppose to get and not many that he has to fight for.

You're right, it's not worth the time to argue because it is still a hypothetical. Or were you saying it's not worth YOUR time to argue with ME? That's what it sounds like...

This circus would annoy me if he wasn't giving the proceeds to charity....

Read into this whatever you want. Could be nothing, could be everything.

LeBron-to-Miami may not be happening. Heat has canceled a full-page welcome ad in The Miami Herald. This time I'm serious.

That is from Greg Cote, Miami Herald columnist. Ads get pulled from papers all the time for a lot of reasons.

But the timing of this, combined with lingering doubts, makes you wonder a little. ESPN reporters have hedged their bets all day, but their parent company has a vested interest in the drama. Cote and the Herald do not.

Seeing as how Miami has about 4 players on the roster right now....it would be kinda tough.

I will take the Lakers current roster w/ Kobe, Pau, Artest, Odom, Blake, Bynum, Fisher & Brown(all likelyhood), Walton, Sasha, etc over Miami's big 3 and a bunch of league minimum type players. They will have no bench at all.

I hope he does go to Miami so they can all lose together. I don't think the lineup they'll have is better than the Lakers.

Bitter Mavs fan :mj07: Sorry but until Wade retires you & Cuban will never win a ring. Wade owns the MAVS. Not just one player but every single player on the MAVS. :00hour

Two big winners tonight:
Heat and Rockets.

Why Rockets you ask.
They have the right to switch draft positions in 2011 with the Knicks if they choose and it is only #1 protected.
The Rockets have the Knicks 2012 pick as well.

Lebron to the Knicks and that pick is in or near 20.
Without Lebron the Rockets are looking at a top 5 pick.

What am I bitter about? Yeah I like the Mavs and they lost to the Heat, big deal! I like Wade and think he's a GREAT player. I just think it's laughable that these three go to the Heat and won't win until they get other players.

By the way, I thought you liked the Celts. Let me guess, you're now a Heat fan. :mj07:

I was a little let down with the hour long special tonight.
When I heard Jim Gray was doing the interview then I was expecting some hardcore questioning like he did to Pete Rose.

At one point I thought Jim Gray was going to blow him.

How about asking if Delonte West banging his mom played into the decision???

That would have been the Jim Gray I know.

Wait, so Keg, you think that the Knicks are going to finish 5th or worse record-wise in the entire NBA next season? Maybe in the eastern conference, but there's still some pretty bad teams out west. I would think that the Knicks, after this sign and trade with the Warriors, and after acquiring a competent point guard, would at lease be able to finish outside of the bottom 8 teams in the league. That is, barring a bad injury to Amare. The young players are really coming around for them, and while everyone says the Knicks don't have a point guard, I really think Toney Douglas will surprise this season, just watch. He's been busting his ass this offseason in Vegas, working on his jumpshot and conditioning, not worrying about who the knicks acquire. I still wish they had drafted Jennings or Lawson with that #8 pick last year, but as long as we have the outside shooting, that will create space for Amare, Randolph and Crawford down low. A lot of good young talent in Randolph, Walker, Gallo, Douglas and Chandler. Knicks will be better than you think. They may not make the playoffs, but they certainly won't finish in the bottom 5 in the league.

Well I can tell you there is a better chance of them picking near 5 than there is of them picking near 20 with that roster.

We will see how the Knicks come together, but I can't say they are better than a single team in the west on paper right now other than the obvious one T'wolves.
Clippers will be better with Griffin.
Warriors and Kings are no better or worse than NYK.
The NYK team could finish with 6 or 7 teams below them like this seasonbut most of those will be east teams.

I just don't see NYK finding a way out of the 10 worst for sure though.

So. Cal
jeez

i told you guys exactly WHAT happened and what WOULD happend and i see 20 entries of guesses as to where he was going.

the decision was finalized tuesday (and really a few weeks ago if miami could clear enough room for all three)......the rest of this free agency process with wade-bosh-lebron was just a scam for future entertainment endeavors from them (ie: documentary/drama/fake bs about thier f/a process)

i hope miami falls apart in the playoffs in round 2.

Lebron gave up in that Celtics series .

it was rumored that his mom dating the teamate pissed him off.

I dont care what it was. He gave up on his team.

I dont really want someone like that on my team.

I doubt Miami gets a championship next year.

too many egos on that team now.
