Should this 35-52 Houston team be -130 over the Cards today?


No way in hell should they be the chalk over this Cardinal team.....I don`t care who is pitching for the Cardinals.....This junk team shouldn`t be favored over anyone at this price for that matter.....Brett Myers is on the mound today not Roy Oswalt.

With that said.....The public is on the Cards of course 61%.....The line opened up at -110 and got jacked up to -130......That`s a big 20 cent hike.....Somebody moved it 20 cents,we know it wasn`t the public.

The Houston Astros are GOLD today......My reasoning is....They are the chalk when they shouldn`t be....And the 20 cent hike from the opening line.

Good call.

Myers has been awesome this season for what Houston paid for him and I am sure they will deal him at the deadline for a solid prospect.
He has high value since he is only making $3M this year and no obligation beyond it.

Astros need to unload Myers and Oswalt for quality prospects. They are going nowhere anytime soon.
