It always seems that the "big" favorite seems to go down in the late round (is it 2nd?? I dont know for this silly thing).... The 1st round the "big" faves and people you would expect to crush the ball do... And they move on thanks to a high 1st rd score.. (1st n 2nd rds are added together I think)... BUT IT IS THEN THAT THEY RUN OUT OF GAS... I remember Pujols killing it and then finals or semi's or whatever it was, ran out of gas... It always happens... Ortiz will probably do well in 1st rd, and out of gas...

So, it would be logical that the guys with the "smaller, less heavy bats" IF IF IF they can get through that 1st rd with the big guys, will come out victor... That's my thinking this year... So which player's on this year's roster would fit that bill???

Ill be back with a couple of picks, maybe 3... (all will be +500 or higher....)

Any thought's, ideas, or picks are appreciated...

let kick sum a$$ second half!!! alwayz bess to you soljah!! :toast: auryte!!!

glta!

Thanks bud... My favorite part of the season starts up in 2 days.. THIS IS WHEN I SEEM TO DO SERIOUS DAMAGE TO THE BOOKS.... (probably one reason is because COL becomes the hottest team in the NL down the stretch...)

Col is gonna be a spot they've never been before.... ONLY 2 games back and way over .500 avg.... Gonna be interesting how the coaches are gonna adjust to keep the "fire" under their asses when all the players know they can be 10 back last 2 months and easily comeback and Wild Card it or take the division.. I hope we grab the #1 spot and run with it!
