looking like gonna take over. Seems that Dallas coach goes over on the road a lot (and Dallas has given up 31 points in each of last two season's 1st NFLX), and real worried about injuries after the Dez Bryant deal (who's that?) and not want Jerry to blow his stack if any more guys hurt. So don't see strong defense.
But Phillips does work more on offense early in preseason. The camp just now ended in San Antonio "Red-zone offense, a weakness last season, was the most stressed element during the two-week stay". (what is "red zone offense"?) Can't see any big advantage in backup quarterback corps of either team, except they'd throw lotta interceptions! Kitna has looked rotten in practice, and career he's 152 TD passes and 151 INT...
And like Bengals to cover. Dallas historically poor at start of NFLX...JT O'Sullivan is still competing for a job, and has good pre-season record (unlike Kitna, who has better regular season numbers). Infact, Dallas has very few battles left in camp, but Cinci has lots to sort out--new guys to break in, need to get chemistry and so on. So game means more to Cinci.
Sort of home game for Bengals (but gonna be a lot of loud Texicans there with Emmett goin' in). But lotta ex-Cowboys on that Bengal team might get movtivated too...and in that post IE made, he highlighted this: "Typically starters play two series at most in the annual preseason opener, but if the Bengals were to have two straight three-and-out series, Lewis might decide to let them plan another."...Romo is dealing with some pain, don't expect to see him play much at all. Dallas gonna play down to all four QB seeing time, looks like Bengals just gonna keep rotation of 3 QBs
Oh brother! Me mostly MLB and NHL bettor, looking into this HOF game 'cause I got that Betphoenix $50 free roll....what the hell do I know about NFL or football? :142smilie Waddya all think? :0corn
Bengals -3 +105
Over 32? -110
