Not the best weapon to learn on.
Get the SIG SAUER? Mosquito? .22LR pistol.
Saves money, fun to shoot. I have mine with a scope.

I have an AR 15 w/ an 18" barrel, and it is really loud. This one w/ an 8" barrel would require inner and outer ear protection, IMO. You let loose w/ a few of those rounds inside a home w/ that gun, and somebody is gonna soil themselves if they don't get filled up w/ lead first.
