I love opening weekend. here is some info and thoughts on a few of the games.
so.miss and so carolina.
sm has a good front 7 and i think they will play against a conservative so.car. team has has a few more weapons and are at home. Last year they won 7-3 in opener and had garcia hand off and let the d win the game. I think the best bet here is the UNDER 1ST HALF of 23. Spurrier has been a big disapointment in spreads and 14 in a opener against a team that has played well on the road ats is just to much.
Iowa state vs n.Ill
hard to find any love for N Ill in this game. Iowa state plays very well at home and has some good offensive players and a very mobile qb. No Ill will have line problems. Its Iowa state or nothing for me.
Marshall at ohio state.
I love look ahead games against average teams. Ohio state plays Miami in 9 days and should show nothing but a vanilla offense, which is fine because they have a tough defense and are at home. Marshall has 14 starters coming back and remembered they played very well at the end of last season. Don't buy the hype :scared as this is a situational large play for me on MARSHAL +29 at bet us.

NOTE: ARIZONA in the nfl will be starting 2 starting qb's against a washington team that will be playing number 3 and 4 qb's. I rarely give a touchdown in pre-season but this game warrants a look. As does Cincy vs, Indy. No manning, no cares, outscored by a 100 the last 4 years in last game and they don't care.:mj07:
