Love the mountaineers but this is a bit of peculiar situation for them.
Doc Holliday, wvu native, associate head coach at wvu for the last two years and the new head coach at Marshall. Arguably a better head coach candidate than Stewy but it wasnt meant to be. A primetime game with a new sound system and scoreboard and an opportunity for Doc to get a first Marshall head coaching win and beat a team for the first time in school history. Too many motivating factors on the Marshall side vs a team that loves the opportunity to play to their opponents level. A fresh new qb could pose a problem for the mountaineers if it gets close.
