Down only 2 (will be 1.5 games back when SF closes out the 9th with a 5 run (maybe more, they are still bating in the 9th) win. SD then has to board a plane and come to OUR HOUSE, with a 10 GAME WIN STREAK!!! We were down I believe 14 at 1 point AFTER THE Break when we had a 2-8 streak to start the 2nd half... WHAT A TURNAROUND...

If and when we sweep SD,we will probably sitting atop the division... (SF will drop some games IMO next few days...)

That 7th inning, when COL is trailing has been THE INNING TO TIE UP THE GAME, OR TAKE THE LEAD... (like 80% of the time lately)...

Now if we could just get the lead early, eh????

TO PEEPS BETTING ON COL....

STAY AWAY FROM THE 1st 5 INNINGS... (unless you go against em; my book used to offer -.5 and +.5 rl 1st 5 inn. stuff, but doesnt. If your book does, it might be good payoff to take the opponent on the road to be tied or have a small lead at the end of 5... Just my opinion from watching last 20 straight games in entirety...

WHAT A RUN... HOTTEST TEAM AGAIN LATE IN THE STRETCH WHEN IT COUNTS... Too bad we had such a hole to get out of... Need 1 more 10 game win streak to insure everything is wrapped up.... :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast:

Didn't the Rockies go to the World Series and get swept in 4 games like they weren't even there?

Somehow, I'd rather be the team that loses a series after being up 3-0, than the one that couldn't even win a game.....

i wouldn't get so excited about the rockies. they can't win a road game and they don't have home field advantage. they are about as pathetic as the pirates away from coors field

Finally someone else who loves the game and isnt afraid to admit its not only money.... Shit, I lost a boatload on COL over yesterday, but was still so happy for the 2 run win walk off homer by JG...

Thanks man... For some reason people just want winners posted and nothing else from me it seems... Or even posting losers (so peeps can fade); cuz that's worked too...

Anyways, Rockies are down 2 out of the gate... Held em to that until ROGERS freaked out about pinning man on 1st n 2nd down and of course, error and then Tejada now knocks in both of them... SO down 4 now, and we are about to bat in bottom of the 5th... Well, maybe we can get four + runs before our BIG 7th we always seem to pull out of our ass....

FUCKING TOP OF THE 5th was a horrid and boring as THE NYJ game... What a waste of life watching that... Win or lose.....

COL NEEDS TO BOUNCE Back... Fucking hiccup yesterday.... SD scores some record high runs in last 20 games or something.... Worst possible pitcher to put up against SD... And he didnt change yesterday....

not sure what road series you are looking at but they swept the padres, that's it. look at their past 5 road series before sweeping SD

1-2 at SF
1-2 at AZ
1-2 at LAD
1-2 at Mets
2-2 at Pitt

Not what you want when you don't have homefield advantage in the playoffs. they're 29-42 on the road, that's brutal.
