have any chance on the ml???????????????

opinions welcome!!!:0008

Of course they have a chance!:142smilie
They are home. They are professional football players anyone can beat anyone in the NFL. The Saints lost at home to tampa bay in a game they tried to win last year. Read that sentence again!:mj07:

How many times did the Saints get lucky and comeback on the road last yr. They should have lost at Wash but Wash fg kicker missed a chip shot. I could give you 500 reasons why SF is the play but I wont!

Winning on the road in the NFL is no easy proposition. Alex Smith blows, but a fired up SF team should be able to run the ball effectively tonight.

The Saints are traveling across the country off of a big win with their main rival on deck, but it is a concern Brees and company are not satisfied with the offensive performance last week.

Sure they can. Spreads dont matter in the NFL. I actually like SF in a low scoring game. Will probably just play the undy though 20-17 either way. GL

I love how people are acting like the Niners are the worst team in football. :142smilie They aren't worldbeaters but they are, at worst, an average team.

I agree with Cie. People keep acting like this game is all about Smith, yet they conveniently neglect to mention that Gore is the focal point of the SF offense. Or how about the fact that NO just doesn't have a very good defense? They were something like 20th overall last year, and 21st against the run. How will Gore NOT have a big game against them? I expect him to have a good game tonight, which will take the pressure off of Smith.

And SF had one of the best defenses in the NFL last year, so I would be shocked if NO puts up a bunch of points.

I agree, I think the most telling point of this game is where the line opened. Most people that like NO at 4.5 would have liked them at 6.5-7 so why open so low. The more I think about this one the more I like SF. Suprebowl champs that beat Minny playing a team that got their ass handed to them by seattle. No way N.O. loses right:SIB

I think he needs more of these :

:00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour

Absolutely. Everyone knows that if you post this guy :00hour , it's a lead pipe lock. :D

And I've also heard that if you say "Alex Smith sucks" about 37 times, it's another way to ensure a victory for your side.
