THE main reason I like Georgia is because the are hungry for a win and they are better than the record shows. I know MSU is hungry also but i still think MSU hasnt learned how to win close games.

how in the world is ole miss favored over fresno st?

This is a big game for MSU... If MSU can win this game then they have a great chance to be 4-2 going into the Florida game... Alcorn won't be much of a challenge but Houston is now without their top 2 QB's... I think these 2 teams are very evenly matched... I'm just gonna wait to see what the line does

If we lose this game the whispers for richts head will turn to yells. What that means to the outcome of the game I have no idea, no offense to MSU fans, but the fact we are catching points against yall is one of the more painful things I have felt in my fanship history. Whats more is yall should be favored. Like I said no offense, I just dont think before the year staerted anyone on either side would have seen that. How sad is it to be hoping for a bowl located in mississipi or louisiana thats not the sugar bowl while still in september:facepalm:

UGA - I get what your saying... Richt is a good coach... and I don't know about wanting him gone if UGA loses...

Im not saying I want him gone, but believe me when I tell you that the volume is rising big time on the movement. It started with his reluctance to get rif of the DC (martinez) a few years back, and now with this start the boo's were ringing at times in sanford stadium over the weekend.

Murray's a good QB... just give him a little time to mature and UGA's offense will be rolling... especially when Green gets back... The D will get better with time

why does everybody hate on miles is he really that bad? I mean in his 5 years of coaching he has more wins and a better bowl record than saban did in 5 yrs:0074 I see his bowl record at 4-1 with 2pt loss to a very good penn st team. The other four were wipeouts. It seems to me the players love to play for this guy and when he has time to prepare he is tough to beat.

How is west virginia going to stop lsu running game. The lsu offensive line is so much bigger they will get killed in the trenches. Lsu is bigger they are faster and wv is nothing to write home about on offensive. I think this will be a beatdown just like they did to Miss st. Wv I dont see how they win or cover in this games. Same with bama they will take it to arky. I dont know the sec like you do but I dont think wv or arky matchup well in either game.

west coast - the reason people hate on Miles is because the guy is a straight up dumb ass at times... then other times he looks like a good coach... but the times he's a dumb ass you can't help but ask how the hell he got to be a HC

I agree with you on LSU... I think WVU turns the ball over a lot here... young QB in front of a crowd bigger and louder than he has ever seen

The only reason Les Miles wins games is because he gets to hand-pick recruits from Louisiana - and hand-pick includes intimidating the players and their families if they are leaning towards other schools instead of LSU.

And he inherited an all-star team from Saban that helped a lot in his first few years as a coach. Would be like someone taking over HC for Bama right now, they could finish top5-10 for the next 3 years no matter how bad of a coach they are.

Miles is a moron. I would be genuinely upset with my program if I heard they hired this guy... and we hired a HC with a 5-19 record 2 years ago

Your ignorance is on display:mj07:

The following is a list of LSU 4* and 5* recruits the past 3 years from out of state. Of the total 44 4* and 5* recruits, 21 of them are from out of state:mj07:

LSU may be able to pound the run this week, but do not let the Miss St game fool you. Due to top notch D and special teams play, LSU started drives on average at the MSU 47 yard line. 5 FGs and 2 TDS is not acceptable given this field position and the talent gap between the 2 teams. Jefferson remains a disaster.

Of course, the WV QB Smith has not played in this type of atmosphere, and Stewart is on Miles's level in terms of worst HC at major programs, so I am not looking to play WV this week.

GL either way.....

Oh man... you got me........ I hate websites like Rivals. Don't get on those kinds of message boards because everyone is in love with themselves. Here is what I'm referring to - never said Les didn't get out of state players, but he does get to hand-pick his in-state guys and you can't really deny that.

In 2008 - Out of the state of Louisiana:

No 5* Athletes. Sorry the talent pool in-state was a little dry.
11 4* athletes. LSU got 7 of them

In 2009 - Out of the state of Louisiana

3 5* athletes. LSU got 2 of them
11 4*s. LSU got 5 of them.

**This year helped out your argument a lot because Saban decided to build an all-star team and needed some of LA's 4*s.

In 2010 - Out of LA

No 5* Athletes.
11 4* athletes. LSU got 7 of them.

So here's the reality I see:
In the 3 years you chose to single out...
Out of 36 4*-5* in-state kids, he's gotten 21 of them.

couple more years info:

In 2006 he got 9 out of the 11 in-state 4/5*s
In 2007 he got 9 out of 16

No ignorance here. When louisiana has a solid pool of high school talent, Les gets what he wants out of it. Not looking for a drawn out debate here. I think Miles is a terrible coach but probably the luckiest coach in america. Just my opinion.
