NY Jets +1.5
$550/$500 Not playing this with the Braylon Edwards crap. If line goes up to 3 then I will.
Miami's win last week was impressive in the dome but not as impressive as the Jets. Lets remember Miami could not throw the ball worth shit last week. Got most of their yards passing on the opening play.. I look for the Jets to bottle them up a bit.. Miami's defensive only gave up 10 last week but that was a little mis - leading.. Vikes went up and down the field on them for the most part.. Miscues lead to their demise.. Look for the Jets O - Line to control this football game..
Jets 24 Miami 10

Green Bay -3
$550/$500

Can't go any other way in this one. Green Bay is simply the class of the NFL and Chico just is not. Chicago was lucky to win at home in week one and will not get lucky here. Don't expect Rogers and Co to give up the crucial turnovers in this one..

What is up woth Mangold? Did he come back after leaving the game last week?

Yep he came back in the game.. He is practicing and has never missed a start. The Vikes were able to run well on Miami and I believe the Jets O - Line is much better than my Vikes. Couldn't imagine what AP would do running behind that.. 2000 yards for sure..

AP would be ridiculous, but that's neither here nor there. You could say that about a lot of players in the NFL if they had the right team. For example : imagine the 49ers last night with Manning, Brady, or Rogers. Totally different game.

Just tootin my horn.. btw I took AP over CJ in my fantasy league this year.

Dolphins playing at home on Sunday Night Football against an over-hyped divisional rival.

The Jets started off getting public action after their win vs. the Pats, but now we find out Darrelle Revis is likely OUT, and now Braylon Edwards was caught with a DWI.

As for the Bears

Home dogs are 9-2-1 so far this season
How did the Saints do in Chicago?

When did the Saints play in Chicago you mean san fran.. I hear ya but the Pack are accustomed to playing in Soldier field. The spot is only 3 and I hate to admit it but I think the Packers are the best team in football.

Yes I meant the Niners. I just think they are square plays.

I teased it so hopefully we both win.

Take a look at Senor's thread about the Vegas Bookie Battle

I will and they probably are square plays and my thread last night was about taking the niners and going against the square play.. I thiink these the Jets and Packers are much better than both oopponents on both sides of the ball.. Square or not. In last night's game the Niners are better than the Saints at Defense and running the ball whcih gave them a fighting chance.. I just am not impressed one bit with Miami.. But good luck on your plays and I will check the thread

say it aint so BP....always enjoy reading your opinions but really hope your wrong here...big dolphins fan, so I am laying off the game from a betting perspective, but really think if miami can establish the run early that they win this game. They are at home on primetime. I realize that overall J-e-t-s may be the most talented team but playing at home i think could be the difference here....revis out hurts them immensly too. Dolphins beat them twice last year and feel like they will continue the streak here. Hopefully the dolphins win by 1 so we both are happy with the outcome!!!!! good luck to ya like always

for both of us too be happy how about a 20-19 dolphins win!!!!:toast:

NOT ON THE JETS ANYMORE.. Edwards maybe a distraction.. The fact that Miami got them twice last year is another reason why I like the Jets.. I will still probably take the Jets but not big. I think the Jets push the Phins around in this one...
