Week 2 PLAYOFF PREDICTIONS:
Week 2 PLAYOFF PREDICTIONS:
playoff predictions in week 2? WHAT! I feel like an ESPN analyst doing this nonsense in an eighth into the season. So for the 10th time in 2 weeks ill wear this face  and take a stab in the dark. So here's what I'm predicting:
AFC Standings:
(Wildcard **)
East:
1. New England Patriots - I hate the pats, but staying consistent in the NFL is tough to do. The Jets and Fins are getting closer to them, but until they show they can win the division in consecutive years, even the biggest colts fan isn't ready to believe the dirty pats aren't going to win the AFC East.
2.New York Jets - Injuries are mounting and it's only 2 weeks in. With that said they have a boat full of talent and
3.Miami Dolphins - next 6 games are make or break. I'm guessing break. (NYJ, NE, @GB, PITT, @CIN, @BAL)
4.Buffalo Bills - Hey they beat the Colts last year! Well that doesn't mean nothing because they will finish most likely finish last in the division. I don't exactly know what is wrong here with this team, and I don't have enough time or energy to watch enough Bills games to find out.
North:
1. Pittsburgh Steelers - What is the recipe for winning your division? winning a road game with 6 first downs against a team who just won 38-13. Haha thats probably not the magic formula, but after 2 weeks it has me convinced enough.
2. Baltimore Ravens - The offense, mostly Flacco, has yet to meet my expectations. This is probably due to the fact they have played 2 road games against tough opponents. We shall how the offense does this week against the browns.
3. Cincinnati Bengals - they got handled by the Pats in week 1, and had some help from the refs in game 2. I see TO doing more hurt them help.
4. Cleveland Browns - In week 1 you have Jake Delhomme. In week 2 you have Seneca Wallace. FAIL!
South:
1. Indianapolis Colts - As the kids in "The School of Rock" would say, "STEP OFF!". Obviously, week 1 was a fluke! well....I hope it was. Anywho, the facts are the facts. The colts have won the division 6 out of the last 7 years, and have been in the playoffs since 2002. Until they miss the playoffs, I'm expecting them to make it.
2. Houston Texans - After the first two weeks the Texans have reminded me of the ever-so popular saying: once is a fluke, twice is a pattern, thrice or more is a trend. (ya, something like that) In other words Week 1 was impressive against the Colts, but the first game of the season is like the first mile of a marathon. With that said, last week against the Redskins impressed me more than their first game.
3. Tennessee Titans - after 2 weeks, I truly believe this division will be very close this year. Week 1 couldn't have gone better for them. Although I haven't watched more than a quarter of the Titans vs. Steelers game last week, it showed me that when you shut down the Titans run game they pull Vince Young and put in the Grandpa Collins mid game! I'm no NFL coaching expert, but when you do something the Raiders do more than any other team in the league, it's probably not good. Just sayin
4. Jacksonville Jaguars - They didn't change much in the off season and I'm scratching my head just wondering how they could make the playoffs with David Garrard.
West:
1. San Diego Chargers - With all of the distractions and hold outs the Chargers have a few games to figure it out.
2. Kansas City Chiefs - Great start, but they have SF, @IND, @HOU next 3 games. They need to prove to me they can win around league as well as on the road in the division. Until then, San Diego stays on top.
3. Denver Broncos - fell apart last year, lost Brandon Marshall, and can't be trusted. Let's see how they do against Indianapolis this week.
4. Oakland Raiders - inconsistent last year and will continue to be until management changes.
