Well I made some bad calls last Saturday on the college games before old Buddy came back and smoked THE MANs ass on Sunday and Monday in the NFL.

It is easy to look back over the games after they have been played and say to yourself Damn Buddy what the hell were you thinking when you laid MONEY on that Team but I look back on last Saturdays plays and I don?t feel that way. I thought I had some good plays up ATS in Alabama,Utep,Fla. ATL especially that f**king UTEP-11.5 as they should have beaten the every living hell out of that rag ass Memphis but Alas Buddy took it up the poop shute on those 3 plays.

Well there is no sense in reliving those past plays as that ACTION is OVER and gone unless any of you guys knows anyone that will take Action on Played games? If you do let me know. LOL

No you cant beat yourself up on past loses but you can damn sure try not to make the same mistakes and by God that is Buddy's goal this week. I'm going to make THE MAN pay for embarrassing Old Buddy last Saturday and he is going to pay out his fat ass.

Yes sir he is going to f**king PAY.

THURSDAY SEPT 30TH- OCT 1ST

I don?t need to go back into all that Blah,Blah bulls**t about how much I dislike handicapping Thursday and Friday College football games so I will spare you guys that Ranting and Ravening.

TEXAM-OAKIEY ST-3.5

UMMM.. As far as the NUMBERS go THE MAN is off this week for some reason??

That line should have opened at Okiey St- 9 but looking at who these Teams have played it is hard coming up with an accurate opening line. But it is rare to see to see a Thursday Night game that isn?t right on THE NUMBER. Maybe its because of all that TEXAS money THE MAN is expecting coming in on AM or maybe he has weighted the AM Defense higher than I would but regardless the NUMBER is off for whatever reason.

I don?t handicap by THE NUMBERS as I put more emphasis on the Talent on the Field for a particular event and too me Okie has a young inexpericed Offense and AM experienced QB and RBs win in that regard but looking at the Numbers Okiey has put this year against some chump teams they aren?t struggling too hard putting up touch downs. Going to be harder to do against a team like AM. Ummm

The more I smoke over this Okie st-AM Action the more I become convinced that this should be AMs year and a rebuilding year for Okie St. ummm

Now I see why THE MAN opened this line at -3.ummm

Sorry all you Cowboy fans but I'm going to go with AM and the points here.

101 TEX AM+3.5

FRIDAY OCT 1ST

I don?t like either side in this one

PASS FOR SATURDAYS ACTION

Good luck Buddy.
Still hanging in SC

Born and Bred

and when I die

Ill be f**king South Carolina Dead.

Rick I spent many years living in vegas in the old days.Every year in Vegas probably shortened my life 4 years and when I retired back to my home state of SC I think I gain back 4 years for every year bring at Home. I have told a lot of stories about my years in vegas on the internet over the past 10 years. In the mid 70s when I was young and full of fire and piss and vinegar I used to go down to a local diner at lunch and talk to THE MAN Bob Martin who set the Vegas line every day at The Union Plaza. I probably lost more games ATS than I won talking to old Bob trying to find an edge against his lines but I will tell you it was quite an experience in my learning process in becoming a handicapper.
Well a professional handicapper anyway because to be a handicapper all you have to do is say I like this side of an event and Boom you are a handicapper. To say you are a professional handicapper I guess all you need to do is spend about 5- 10 years losing several 100 grand and sooner or later THE LiGHT will turn on
and then you start winning more than you lose and actually make a living doing this job... I don't recommend anyone reading this post to ever pursue a career as a professional handicapper and boys I mean that sincerely from the heart..LOL

GL on your plays this week Rick. We are going to take THE MAN down this week bro. I have seen the fear in the eyes of my locals when they al stop by at my favorite bar to shoot the s**t with Old Buddy..LOL

Know all about you and your plays Buddy as I have conversed with you on other forums for a number of years. Question though,
If the locals know you are sharp(which is the case it seems). Why do they take your bets knowing in the long run its a losing proposition.
Good luck!:0074

Books are in the business of taking Action. It is just a matter of masses of asses. Books don't really stop taking your Action they LIMIT your Action to the point your Action wont take all the money in the pool and besides Sharps lose games. How you manage your loses and your risk to gain on your future action will determine if you are going to be picking up at the end of the week.

Lets say Bookie a is sitting on 10 dimes heavy on side A and he knows I like Side B he might say BUDDY I'm heavy 10 on A I can give you up to that much on B if your interested and I say Ill take 2 dimes of it but that is my risk cap. Before the game goes off he might still be Heavy let say 7 dimes on A and depending on his figure of his Handel he will either hold the 7 dimes or Layoff the whole 7 dimes or some of it to even his Action. Books don't care if you win... so long as they share in the profit at the end of the week and a Book that properly manages his handel will almost always share in the profits as he has a built in Vig. You are just another f**king Number contributing to the total pool. Now the same thing could happen I call in I want 5 dimes on Side B and Bookie boy tells me all he can give me is my cap of 2 dimes because he doesn't want to f**k with anymore than that at this moment.... I'm talking about locals as opposed to offshores who have larger Pools and will generally take whatever you want up to their risk gain levels which will be alot higher. I making these Numbers up as I type just to use as an example. GL this week Rick
