And Lee was supposed to get the nod tonight, but instead it's Feldman. I understand resting starters since they have the division clinched, but it looks like Texas is going to mail in the rest of the season until the playoffs start. I would want to be sharp going into the playoffs, but that's just me.
The biggest irony of this series is that the M's have the 2nd worst record in baseball, yet they will most likely sweep the Rangers. :142smilie

Well, the M's SHOULD have swept them. 5-2 lead going into the bottom of the 8th, but they lose 6-5 in the 9th.
I don't know if anyone saw it, but the ending of this game was downright comical. Man on 1st with 2 outs for Texas, Nelson Cruz strikes out and the ball gets away from the catcher. He tries to throw Cruz out at 1st, and the ball goes all the way into RF. Moreland scores all the way from 1st on the strikeout. :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

Oh, and I forgot to mention Cruz was dogging it up the line after the strikeout, so all the catcher had to do was make an accurate throw and he would have been out by a mile. :facepalm:

I don't think you were an idiot to bet on Seattle at all. Texas has really put the brakes on since they locked up the division, so they're a team I wouldn't want to bet on the rest of the year.
And I didn't check the lines but I'm guessing Seattle was probably a good-sized dog today, just based on the fact that Texas is the better team.
