You have no idea what its like here in NC. Yes, I am aware we'll get what we deserve. It sucks but it happened....had a chance at a magical year...we were loaded.

But you've got NC State fans and everyone else talking "Death Penalty" every single day....it gets old. We should get something along the lines of what USC got...which will pretty much destroy us for about 5 years or more.

That said, if they are contacting their coach outside the stadium....that's a significant advantage and should be punished. Cheating...is...cheating....do you agree?

Cheating would be practicing a play to use in a game where someone illegally tackles two defenders, so an end can be wide open on a fake field goal and making sure the play clock is at zero for three ticks before the ball is snapped.

I know it could be something big and then maybe not...but again, rules are rules. Austin was going to UNC anyway, and then got paid...so its ok if he plays.....I mean, where do you guys draw the line???

What I am more amazed at is that no one has mentioned Craig T. Nelson did the exact same thing in Coach. Though if I remember the episode correctly Nelson was released from the hospital and calling the plays from home.

i take it you were not around when unc fans wanted the same for nc state basketball. they did manage to get valvano fired even though he did less wrong that butch davis. just heard will graves booted from unc basketball team. the "carolina way" is losing some of it's luster.
