Where it is real F ing COLD
Well I tried..

I do not understand why the Wild were not awarded a penalty shot at the end of OT if you watched it..

I did not have sound so I do not know what the commentators were saying..

The Wild's shootout attempts were pathetic.

It was the right call in my opinion. He got the shot away and hit the post. It was a slash not a trip.....not a penalty shot in my view:SIB

OK that makes sense. If you get the shot off you don't get it. I thought there was a rule that if you had a stride lead on a break and drew a penalty it was automatic PS.. I guess I was wrong..

it has to be a decent scoring chance, not just a shot, like if he is falling to the ground and flicks it at the net he could still be awarded a shot.
At least that?s USA hockey?s rule might be different for the NHL but I doubt it

I should have said "a good shot", he made the deek and hit the post. But yes, if it just dribbled at the net it would have been a penalty shot. You can't award a penalty shot when a guy makes a deek and hits the post after being slashed.
