FIU -3 over North Texas ******
This line is way out of wack.I have it at -5 to -7.I jumped on it right away.This line has to go up to -6 or 7 before the end of the week.NT lost their 3rd string Qb Riley Dodge to a broken wrist.Their 2nd string center went down so the 3rd string center will start vs FIU.Top WR went down.That is 8 starters out in the last 3 weeks. I saw 3 of them go down at the Army game.FIU has played a tough schedule. They played Pitt tough down 23-17 with 12 minutes to go before Pitt scored a few td's.Lost to Maryland 42-28,and had Texas Am beaten leading 20-6 in the 3rd qrt.Down 27-20 with a few seconds left and couldn't score from the 3 yd line.FIU played its worst game last week beating WKU.They should beat NT by 10 or more

Had a great time in Philly. Got to see my 4 children,Longwood Gardens,Eastern State Penitentiary.."Terror behind the walls".....9th-10 Street Italian section,Pats Philly sandwich,and got to sit in a Philly bar with Phillies fans cheering my team. I'm always in a NY bar cheering my Phillies...and we look good...

Won big with UTEP last week.Like them again +2 over UAB.Like Houston -9 over Rice,love Indiana -13 vs Ark St....will post later in the week...thanks for all the nice comments....jump on the FIU line..

Love it. Was looking at this too..

You are right, there have been a lot of misleading scores not quite indicative of the talent on this Golden Panthers squad. I watched that terps game from start to finish and that score did not tell the story.. Seeing all -5's right now, but still see value here.

Box against his Mean Green, count me in :00hour

The line went up to -5.5 so I wouldn't make it my strongest play.I jumped on it on day one and love it.North texas played tough at home losing to Ark St by 5.But with so many injuries this team is snake bitten.Blaine a walk on will start today at QB.He's the 4th string qb. Their top wr,center and wr are out for the year.FIU has a solid Qb in Carrol who almost beat Texas AM and Pitt.NT will run Dunbar the ball 30-35 times today. FIU will play 8 in the box..have them winning by a TD or more.

Indiana -10 over Ark St ******

IU has a good QB in Chappell.It's OL will protect him today vs. a weak ASU defense.IU offense should put big numbers up today.ASU run defense is one of the worst in the country.IU WR Turner will be tough to stop.Doss caught 15 passes for 221 yds vs Michigan.He's an all purpose player 8th in rec,12th in receptions,12th in the nation in ko returns..Ark st will be chasing him all day.IU defense isn't that great but should slow down ASU.ASU QB Alpine is very good and among the leaders in the country but North texas defense held him to 168 yds passing last week. Alpine will score and move the ball but not enough to catchup with IU outscoring them..IU should win this by 2 or 3 tds. best play of the day

NC St -6.5 over ECU ******
ECU has really played well since " Skip" skipped town.This was a rebuilding year yet the Pirates have some talent and are so freak'in fast.Last week they knocked off So Miss 44-43.There was a 99 yd return kickoff that they scored on.Dwayne Harris their top Wr threw a block that was one of the greatest blocks i've ever seen.Two USM players about to catch the ECU runner at the 30 with a good angle to stop the runner got wiped out by haris on one block...like a bowilng ball hitting two pins...anyway...
NC St after getting smoked by VT has come alive.Wilson is a good QB, No 2 in the nation with 1,800 yds and has 17 td's. ECU def. will not be able to put pressure on him.ECU defense gives up mucho pts..over 40 in their last 3 games,last week 403 yds and 43 pts vs USM.On top of that NC St has a good defense. This will be ECU's 1st look at a good defense.ECU is young and quick and mistake prone.ECU is 3-0 in Conf USA so losing this game isn't the end of the world.Pack could win this by 3 or 4 td's....and since this is a rival game somewhat I could see the pack running it up a little..also my son who is a Pirate agrees this week "my boys are in trouble".

Pitt +1 over Cuse ****
Cuse has improved so much.Better coach,better climate and atmosphere.Great win at USF but beating Colgate and Maine are nothing to write home about.Pitt offense needs to wake up.Lewis is almost 100% but Graham has been a stud.Even with some Pitt defenders out they can still play D.Sunseri scares me a little but I think Pitt defense will stop Carter and make Nassib throw.

UTEP +2.5 over UAB ****
If you play trends then jump all over UAB. Miners on the road are terrible.But UTEP has for the 1st time a good defense that is letting its offense outscore the other team.Vittatoe can throw and has Adams on the other end. A great combo.UAB is so inconsistent but I think Miners OL will give Vit time to pass and pick apart a weak Blazer secondary.The question is can UTEP defense stop UAB.UAB looked terrible vs UCF last week. Don't think their that bad but Miners are on a roll.They have ben good to me so I'm not getting off the train esp. vs a 1-4 team.

Houston -9.5 over Rice ****
If its revenge you want then take Rice.Coogs beat them 73-14.Coogs w/o Keenum are a different team.But they are undefeated in conf play and can still score pts.Piland is a frosh qb and going against one of the worst defenses in the country.Owls can't stop anybody.No pass rush,no run defense...secondary are bad...Coogs can't stop the run on defense so rice should score but Houston should win this game by a few Td's.Maybe not like last yr...Coogs could have as many fans as rice at the game today.

Army +7 over Rutgers **
Tough game..spent so much time on it and got nowhere.If you compare the tulane game that both teams played Army wins outright. RU has a lot of talent and athletes..and they woke up...esp after beating UConn.Army is playing great and they get better and better....small lean for the Cadets covering...but RU has such athletic defensive players that could stuff the run..

Iowa -3 over Michigan **
Hawaii +7 over Nevada **
Illinois +7.5 over Mich St **
Troy -18 over ULaf **
