Where it is real F ing COLD
Just have to blow off a little bit of steam.. This team is like a broken record. Same losing shit over and over. I know many will blame Brett Favre but considering what happened last night, you can only blame the head coach..

It was evident that the offense was not prepared for this game one bit. False starts and terrible play calling really make for a horseshit night. I know Peterson only had a limited amount of carries last night but when the fucking team makes 10 penalties and puts them into 2nd and 3rd and long then they are going to pass more..

What was the Vikings nemesis last year? Poor offensive line play and poor blitz pick up.. What does the team do.. Oh yeah.. Lets not pick up an offensive lineman and not find a running back to pick up a blitz on third down after we lost ours. No lets trade down in the draft and take a DB (not a bad choice) a slow white RB, and never address the O - Line Issues. Lets worry about getting wide receivers and trading d - backs for marginal wideout. (Camarillo) No lets have the oldest fucking QB and one of the best running backs and lets keep em behind a shit offensive line.. And to top it off lets run behind the right side of the line continually. The weak side of the line..

The defensive played pretty damn good last night.. They were on the field forever.. They were much better at stopping the run last year but now they are much better at pass D.

Oh now that I am on it.. I have been telling people this for a long time.. Jarred Alllen is the most over rated, over paid, POS in football. Again, a big game, nothing.. Had 15 sacks last year and 7.5 against Green Bay. I see Dallas and the Pack are scheduled next, they give up tons of sacks. Maybe Jarred can pad his stats then..

I think I have to quit watching football or maybe just this team cause I seriously want to hit Childress in the face over and over and over again.

what does it matter if the RB they picked up was white or black? Maybe its time to get rid of Favre, he's washed up.

I guess it doesn't matter, I guess it is wrong choice of words, but the coaching staff should realized how slow the guy was before drafting him.. Not just draft him because of his name. The guys should not of made the team.

Maybe it is time to get rid of Favre and play Jackson.. Not because Favre is washed up, but to have a QB who can run for his life and make a play.. With the offensive line the way it is, Favre HAS NO CHANCE AND YOU CAN PUT THAT ON THE COACH!!

just from an objective point of view:

Imo, everytime I watch the Vikings they just look like the most disorganized team in the NFL (well maybe tied with the cowgirls). I can totally understand why you're upset with the coaching. The whole team looks atrocious and does not live up to their talent level.

The defense looks pretty solid and the offense has weapons, especially once Moss gels with the team. With Favre throwing to Moss, Harvin, and Shiancoe and having AP in the backfield....this could be a dangerous team in a couple/few weeks.

Biggest thing to me, other than crappy O-line, is Favre's health/status. He's old and he's severely banged up. He's a fucking warrior and I admire the hell out of him but he's got injuries all over the place.

Best thing might be a suspension with all this crap going on....get some time off to further heal the body and get personal life in order if needed. Only thing is, could Minn get enough wins to stay alive while Brett is sitting.

I'm not a Viking fan at all, but I do like Favre and also AP and would like to see Favre in playoffs one last time. It will be interesting. At least they are in NFC where they have a chance.

Favre - washed up? Lmfao. He was running for his life last night. HE KEPT THEM IN THE GAME WAS UNREAL IN THE 3RD AND MOST OF THE 4TH. Pressured senseless - getting drilled on 90% of his attempts and tossing that ball in the perfect spots. That's washed up - no way guys. He was slammed twice on that elbow and still threw that ball great.

CHILDRESS SUCKS COCK. GET EM OUTTA THERE RIGHT NOW.

I like Favre. He is all guts and balls. Appreciate the effort last night. He was awesome.

Yeah, totally agree. Favre is not washed up. It amazes me to hear people talk bad about the guy.

I've heard so much about what he did wrong in NFC Title game last year. The guy played his ass off and had a great game while getting the shit beat out of him. Saints took a lot of dirty shots on top of a lot of clean ones.

Anyone see those post-game pictures of his ankle and leg? My God....the guy was running around completing passes with that while getting hit some more. Damn near pulled off the win to get to the super bowl. And all of this at age 40 after a great career.

My only comment here was, I just wonder how much longer he can keep doing it. He's proved everything he needs to prove to me and then some...and then some more.

Happy for the win last night but towards the end of the game, biggest thing I was thinking......I can't believe I bet against Favre....on Monday night....after a bye week. I got lucky and won't do it again.

BP.
Agree.
Favre is solid and not the issue.
Childress is a utter moron.
You see that running AP to the outside was working yet he would continue to try to run in the tackles.
I dont blame Favre one bit last night hell without him the Jets probably pitch a shutout.
That throw to Moss was 46 yards of pure bliss. Sure he missed a few throws but what GREAT QB doesn't.
I might get slammed (nothing new) but if Favre was calling the plays last night in the huddle they win that game. NO QUESTION.
No Shiancoe. No swing passes to AP.
I think the Vikings are going to CRUSH the COWBOYS.

I think the Cowboys are in BIG trouble.. I think the Vikes will win the next 2 then lose in New England. They will be 3 - 4 with the soft schedule coming up..

bp I feel the same way...the problem IS childress...the conservative playcalling until the no huddle severely handicaps the offense and any rhythm they might be able to achieve

Harvin commented on this saying, in effect, that had the playcalling been as aggressive in the first half as it was in the second "I'm sure the result would have been different".........

why oh why did the vikings not let childress get on the plane to interview in green bay???

:firing: :firing: childress :bigun: :bigun:

I think Dal/Minn game will be a good one and winner will come out very good. Dallas is improving and has finally settled on one back instead of 3 which helps a lot.

A lot of weapons and Roy Williams finally playing good. Should be a good one.

I know 1 thing.. Both teams can't pass block.. I can tell you that.. The loss to the Dolphins really stings right now..

Losing to the Jets and Saints is totally acceptable.. Brad Childress is a fuck head..
