Virginia Tech -26 VT is a new team since the 0-2 start averaging 41 ppg in the 5 game winning streak... This big advantage for VT is their 15th ranked rushing offense is facing the nation's 110th ranked rushing D... Duke does have the 22nd ranked passing attack which is their only however I think VT will win the battle in the trenches on both sides of the ball... Duke only has 4 sacks this year which means Taylor will be able to do what he wants... Another plus for VT is Ryan Williams is expected to return this week
Ohio St. -24 OSU should have their way with PU this week... Buckeyes should come out and dominate after last week's disaster... I see Prior having a big game and the 6th ranked OSU defense shouldn't have much trouble with PU's 72nd ranked offense
Nebraska -5 Love the Huskers in this spot coming off a bad loss at home on national tv to Texas and Ok St coming off a big road win at TT... I like Neb by 10
LSU +6 This will be a very tough and physical game... Auburn will be catching a lot of love with they way they've looked lately and the perception that LSU has been lucky to be where they are and aren't as dominant as they appear... Well here's the situation... LSU's offense may not be that good but they won't have too much trouble against Auburn's D... Auburn's offense will have trouble against LSU's D... I don't see a lot of points in this one as LSU's D will be the best Newton has seen thus far... Can the Hat pull off another stunner???? We'll find out... :0008
Iowa -5 This is the same scenario as S.Car was in last week... Coming off a HUGE home win over the #1 team in the country and having to go on the road the next week to a tough environment... Not only will it be a tough environment but Iowa is a very good football team... I'm very impressed with them this year... They are solid on both sides of the ball.
Alabama -16 Don't really want to get in to all of this but Bama is way better on both sides of the ball... Ingram and Richardson have a lot to prove after 2 sub par performances the past 2 weeks... I see the Tide by 21
Mississippi St -20 My first instinct on this game was that MSU was in a prime letdown spot coming off the huge win last week at Florida... But the more I think about it, the more I realize that last year I expected the same thing in games and they came out fighting every game... MSU will come out and do what they always do... Pound the ball... I think Mullen will have them loose and relaxed... They all know what's at stake here... it's not the ranking or the 4 game winning streak... just getting that win... I like the confidence this team has right now... I see this as a 38-14 type game...
Georgia -4 IMO UK should be favored in this game being that they are at home... UGA's D will be the difference in this game... I think Richt and the Bulldogs are a more focused bunch now and win their 3rd straight
N. Carolina +6- I really like the way this team has handled all the BS that has happened this year with some of their teammates... They are playing some good football right now... Plus Miami is pretty banged up... Think this one is very close
Mizzou +3 I was very impressed with Mizzou's D last week at A&M... Gameday is there and this place will be wild... I'm taking the home dog in an upset!!
