Have a bet I made with BBC at the end of last year..I have Notre Dame Under 6.5.. Wish I would of waited for the 8 that came out from most books this year. Looking to hedge. Do you think Notre Dame can get there if they lose this week.

Sep 25 Stanford 3:30pm
Oct 2 @Boston College 8:00pm
Oct 9 Pittsburgh 3:30pm
Oct 16 W. Michigan 2:30pm
Oct 23 @Navy 12:00pm
Oct 30 Tulsa 2:30pm
Nov 13 Utah 2:30pm
Nov 20 Army 7:00pm
Nov 27 @USC

If they lose this week, they would have to go 6 -2 the rest of the way.. If they win this week I think I am done.. THinking about laying a little on Notre Dame ML this week. How good is BC?

N Dame will definitely beat W. Michigan, Tulsa and Army so that gives them 4 wins lets say.. So they need to win 3 out of these.

@BC
Pitt
@Navy
Utah
@USC

I think it is 50/50 right now. Most of those games are toss ups and not automatic losses. USC doesn't scare anyone anymore and some the tougher ones are at home (Utah and Stanford). On the other hand, they could easily lose to BC and Navy.

I'm gonna guess 7-5. This is a team that will get better as the season goes on. Offensively they are very talented and crist has shown vast improvement since week 1. Defensively they have shut down purdue been burned by robinson and looked below average against MSU. thing killing their defense right now is the injurioes to the secondary these guys are playing every single defensive play and wearing down. Keep in mind this is a team that that has lolst 2 games by a total of 8 points. I would expect the stanford game to be within 6 points. Out of the next 3, I can see them going 2-1 but at worse 1-2, setting them up for a nice run near the end of year heading into USC

I think they'll probably get to 6. They were competitive in each of the last two and it stands to reason that Pitt, Navy, Utah and BC are similar caliber to Michigan and MSU. So, assuming these are coin flips they probably get at least two of the 4. Add Western, Tulsa, Army thats 6. Stanford should be competitive also but I'm not sure they're going to be up to the task after two heart breakers.

I guess "Return to Glory IV" will have to be put off for another year.

Well the are 4 - 4 and have to win 3 outa 4.. I sure wish I would of bet this with the books instead of BBC.. I would be counting the money. I mean I can hedge them with Utah and USC still by betting ND ml.

This fucking team has only 1 legitimate win this year in PITT... Lot of ND fans in town who think beating W. Michigan at home is something to brag about.. A bunch of chest thumpers when they win..

Does ND have a chance against Utah??

me too

I don't know of one ND fan who's happy that the Broncos were even on the schedule, so I can't imagine anyone bragging about it. The Navy game killed the bet.

The Irish are lacking tough kids and two of them have the results of an MRI coming back today. Unless Utah or USC take them lightly, they're going to get manhandled.

Utah will beat them by 17 + points on avg game for them , if they are hitting on all they will win by 28 +. Utah is one of the top 4 teams out there, they can play and have the adv in coaching over most teams by 10 fold. Utah knows the more they pour it on ND maybe they might get the respect they are lacking from east coast media, even though nd is not nd of late 80's or before but still have the name and the people in every state watch them so this is huge for utes to stomp them on nat tv.

Well this bet is coming down to the last game.. Thought I was going to be a sure winner of this a few weeks ago.

Now they play at USC. USC not been great of late and of course the QB Barkley is out of this game. No official line as of yet but some sites are showin USC - 3 or -4... Would of been a 7 to 10 point favorite if they would of played decent last week with Barkley playing,, Making a ML hedge the best option..

Here are my options..

Take ND plus the points and hope to middle.

Take ND ML whatever that is.

Wait til half to see options.

Let it Ride..

Let it Ride is my nature.
