Houston is one of those teams who will overachieve this year. The majority of their players have the blue collar type mentality and will play hard every game, much like the Jazz.
They will win several games that no one expects them to. They have good complementary parts that work together and lots of high character guys.
As for season over/unders, I have Utah over 48.5. Barring injury, this team is going to gel very nicely. They got rid of the cancer in Boozer. Al Jefferson is a huge addition and is pumped to play in Utah, something that can't often be said. The team chemistry by all accounts is very good. Kirilenko might actually try this year, due to it being a contract year. Bell will provide the leadership that has been lacking, as well as a good defensive effort. Once the Jazz have some time together, this is going to be a very, very good group. Will they be able to beat the Lakers? Eh, who knows. I feel quite confident they will be win more than 48.5 and my wager reflects that. Injuries could always screw that wager, but you can hedge if need be.
I also took Sacramento O 27.5 wins. I like this up and coming team. I think they will give good effort consistently and they have the talent to win games.
