3 big questions

1: Will this years election surpass the distain for Clintons 1st 2 years.

GOP seats gained in House since Clinton became president: 45
- GOP seats gained in Senate since Clinton became president: 7
- GOP governorships gained since Clinton became president: 11
- GOP state legislative seats gained since Clinton became president: 1,254

I think it will suprpass it.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

2: Will Rebs be able to turn economy around like they did after 94 elections via contract with america.

I seriously doubt it--believe too much damage has been done.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++

3: If they turn things around will it save Obama's ass in 2012 like it did Clinton.

I don't think so--believe school is out on transparency-no lobbyist-era of responsibilty-partisan politics-great uniter etc grifts--
IMO--only way possible is if they passed bill allowing illegals/felons/no Id's agenda's and believe Nov 2 election will halt that--for a few years anyway.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I'll put up answer to #1 Wednesday.

++++++++++++++++++++++
correct date to 2010

I had been thinking 52-48 Dems in Senate, but looking over polling data at realclear this morning, it would appear all toss-ups are pointing (R), except WV (D) andWash, which is anyone's game. 50-49 (R) with WA outstanding is my new guess...

Under a mask.
Good question ,hard to say.Although remember that Bush Sr. lost his 2nd election after high favoritism (over 80%) in his first term due to recession.

Its easy to blame the next incoming president(just like O now)but remember not one single party is responsible for our country's woes like you always make it out to be.

Remember after Clinton's first 2 years under his watch things got significantly better.To give credit to just one party is just someones alliance to one party and not looking at the whole picture.

As stated previosly don't think GOP has chance at sentate--and think you got good take on #.

Personally would just as soon Dems kept senate if Reids gets beat. Just looking to change status quo where they can't pass any bill at will--and good to see Pelosi gone.

Not sure how this will end up. Do you think it will be worse than the total drubbing of the Republican Party after 8 years of Bush?

Reid and Peosi are the two best friends the Republicans ever had. Did Bush even once have to sign a veto? They just rolled over and gave him everything he wanyed. Republicans in disguise. Those two disgust me more than they do you.

It just goes back and forth. This whole swing has nothing to do with the GOP. People are pissed that things suck. Just a news flash but things will continue to suck and the majority will swing back again. The people will continue to be played for fools. The beat goes on.

I think the real bottom line here is the Dems are going to pay for putting a minority in the White House. They should have went for Clinton. You would see some of this with a woman but nothing like the hatred minorities bring.

It wont matter either way just like you said.

Same chit differant day.

Next time Rep get a President in there, it will be the Dems who take revenge and fillibuster every plan and action.

its worthless to have them

take their golden parachutes now. Make them have the same pension and health care as the rest of us.

That would save the country about a billion immediately

You can leave the great divider--most partisan-least trasparent-greatest debter in history out of equation.

Believe it was a 3 way contribution--hate to see the good dems like Feingold and others pay the price. Would opt for several over some that are replacing them--but these are the culprits responsible--

Stevie do u remember back on this day being as giddy as Dog is? Could u imagine being giddy about people taken over who do nothing for ya but fuk ya? A friend of mine is doing a paper and told me today that we are now bottom five in Education of all the other countries. I think we are just behind Cyprus. I knew this country is littered with nitwits but i didn't think we were this bad. I read a post of Skullicks where Hedge, Raymond, and Dogs all participated. Need i say more?

Stevie maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing if that spineless fuk Reid gets knocked off. Knowing the great democratic party tho, when time comes they will replace one spineless fuk with another. Isn't it fun to vote for people u don't particularry like cause the other group are a bunch of cunning conmen?

Chers idea on paying more taxes if right on and funny too.

The really rich dont even flinch when their taxes are raised. They just grunt, fart , and buy a new
Mercedes.
