Woodson.......the play took place with no time on the clock. The game was tied.
Obviously Montreal wanted the FG to be good and they would have won by three points. That did not happen.
If ball goes out of the back of the endzone one point would have been awarded to Montreal and Montreal would have won by one. A great play by Toronto to keep ball in play and kick it back into play (easier then running it out of the end-zone).
Montreal punted the ball back into endzone (trying to kick it out the back of the end-zone for one point). Easier to kick ball out of back of end-zone then run through all the players for a TD.
Worst beat in gambling history if you had Toronto +4.0....brutal loss. Montreal wins by 7.
Note: A CFL end zone is 20 yards from goal line to dead line and 65 yards wide.
Note #2 I love the rule that if you take a knee in end-zone you give up a point.
Why does the guy kick it back at him? Why doesn't he just run it in for a touchdown?
Is this for real?
Seriously.
100 percent real.......although very rare for that kind of play to take place. Only seen that happen 4 or 5 times in last 5 years.
Crazy play:scared
