dDecent week last week going 11-6, bringing my YTD record to 37-23-2

Have a bunch of games that stuck out too me lookin at the card this week. Initial thoughts only, none are plays as of yet:

Tulane +10
Central Mich -2
Utep +8
Nebraska -19
Idaho +12
Troy -11.5
Tex A&M +4
USC -6

Like stated above, none of the above are plays yet.

Like always, I will post all my plays here during the week. I do a lot usually but try too keep it as simple as possible by listing them all together.

Good luck MJers and be smart :toast:

I have pulled the trigger on one play early, simply because I see the line climbing...If im wrong and it comes down I may wager more at the lower number. This one looks to me as a pure blowout. VOLS -18.5

SOUTH FLORDIA

like em all week. I think Daniels will make enough plays with his feet, and their defense will continue playing fast solid D. Their Defense has been good all year except for the florida game in which they had about 5 blown coverages. With the exception of that ugly Florida game, they have given up something like 14-15 ppg and they play fast. If you look back, you see that cincy put up 30 on them. That is a lot of points, but 14 of them came late in the game in the 4th quarter when USF was playing slightly different schemes then what they usually do, trying to just preserve their lead.

Rutgers on the other hand has 4 wins, but 2 of them came agaisnt norfolk and FIU I believe. They havent done much too impress me on the offensive side of the ball. They scored 21 vs PITT, but 14 of which came from a blocked punt and also a last minute scoring drive in the 4th quarter when Pitt was in prevent and had all but had the game wrapped up. Rutgers cant rely on points from special teams tonite. Overall I just dont like how the rutgers O matches up vs the USF D. South florida plays fast and that is tough to gameplan for in practice. You cant simulate speed really. I like what Martinek does on the ground, but dont see many holes being open long enough for any big plays. Look for USF too get after Salvage and make some big plays all night. I think rutgers could hang early, but I think USF pulls away and wins by 20.

One of the other big things I look at when figuring games in college is QB play. In college, I like laying points with teams that have mobile QB's who can get outta the pocket. You see a lot of blown coverages in college, and when you have a quarterback who can get outta the pocket, that helps to take advantage of those blown coverages and gives recieves more time too get open. BJ daniels has some primetime game experience from this year and last, and I think he shows up too play. (Hopefully more then what dasher did last night)

Who am I kidding, NBA KID is on USF, so its gotta have a chance right? LOL- All joking aside though, I think we see southflorida win tontie with good D and some big plays from the QB spot. Combine that with a home crown who I am sure will be loud and crazy and it could be a long night for rutgers. Good luck with whatver you decide.

USF wins 35-13

ADDING :

USF -10

ALSO- remember the tradegy that rutgers had too deal with earlier this year when they had a player named Eric LeGrand seriously injured and will now be parlayzed from the neck down for the rest of his life. It will help keep things in perspective tonite. Even if you lose your wager, remember this kid lost a lot more playing the game he loved. Hopefully he is recovering well and is recieving a lot of help. I think this is one of the worst things too hear about, when someone barley old enough to go to a bar, has something so life changing happen too them in a negative way.

I have USF, but honestly if losing this wager could help this kid, well I would glady donate my money. Good luck MJers.
