Where it is real F ing COLD
Bears @ Bills
Jets @ Lions
Cards @ Vikings
Cowboys @ Packers

Well I don't know how the hell you can cap any of these games this weekend.

Bears @ Bills

Bills have been covering a lot of late and are searching their first win.. The Bears are struggling on offense with turn over prone Jay Cutler.. Bears coming off the bye and Bills off back 2 back OT losses.. Packers were in this situation before and beat the Vikes.. Bills have a new found offense and i am leaning for them to get their first win.

Jets @ Lions

Jets were shut out last week against a banged up Pack D... Wind was crazy and Sanchez looked awful. Detroit got Stafford back and he was a bit rusty even though he threw for 4 TDs. ( I have him in Fantasy) Nice little gem to have stashed away.. Calvin Johnson comes in banged up but he had a 100 yard game last time he was a game time decision. Detroit has a nice front four and the Jets will need to be able to move the ball down field through the air.. I kinda like the Jets to win by 3 but I could see the Lions winning this game.

Cards @ Vikes

Who knows what to expect. I fully expect the Vikes to win the game but do they cover the 9. Peterson should have a big game and I think the Vikes should easily stop the cards O.. Just worried about the turnovers that the Vikes are prone to, Chile's fucked up game plan, and locker room dissention.. If I had to bet it I would take the Vikes but i would not be happy about it..

DALLAS at PACK..

I Love the Cowboys gettiing 8.5, I think if you wait up to gametime you can get 9+. I know the Boys look like shit but they still have skilled players on National TV.. Remember GB is still banged up and their offense is one dimensional.. Rodgers has been off with his receivers of late.. I think the Cowboys should be able to run the ball and with Kitna having 2 full weeks off practice, I expect the Boys to stay within the number..

I am not wagering much as I could see the Boys folding shop if they fall behind early.. Just think the Pack is too banged up to blow anybody out.. All their games are close.. (Except Buff)

Pack 24 Dallas 21

i think if there were ever a spot to play on minn and against gb -this'd be it. for absolutely no good reason 'cept to say teams that shouldnt cover, do...and hardly ever when is when a solid case could be made for them doing so

dallas torched by jax's passing gm, now going to play a team that is all pass

minn loses offensive threat (turned out to be a dud) going against one of the least solid squads out there.

what has happened to whisenhunt? he looked a solid HC -though warner at controls'll do that i guess -now the running game which i thought would carry them through- seems to be non existent. beanie wells looked like a monster LY when played your vikes late season (when they won SU) as dogs
i actually like max hall, though rookies'll make mistakes-part of the profession at qb (unless you're sam bradford) -how did those rams lose by soo much to the lions????

a lions team now, led by a supposed better starter (i too have stafford in my league) that has the dumb luck of catching a jets team off an underachieving loss. i think the fact in a dome alone finds this a jets win, nevermind the embarassment of LW should get the ATS cover too with running game pulling away late, from a vastly improving det defense.

I
BELIEVE
the patriots... will
LOSE

wait, who's q'ing for CLV? McCoy--yeah, he CAN do it. Pats, while holders of best record in fb, are more exposed as to team they really are, when on road. I was actually at the pats game--and was not impressed by any one side of either team. i feel your pain with childress.

granted, pro teams hardly play to cover the spread...but... when tavaris came in late with say about 40 secs left, why was he throwing 1 yd crossing routes to the fullback? if your mindest is to get outta bounds there, might as well jus throw incomplete. seriously, you got moss there--why not chuck it deep and at very least hope for PI? i mean, if he was limited in play calling thats one thing... frustrating is all. part of my play on CLV is chasing against a NE team is decent--but nowhere near the 6-1 team.

while i have no faith in mangini, i know NE running game is inferior on the road--and that puts more pressure on a decent, though not explosive (minus brady extending play to tate LW) passing gm. weird... seeing game in person, while i was rooting for min (silently in my head) after getting home the next day-- surprised how everyone said- what a GREAT game that was. I was... taken aback by that. To me, was pretty uneventful actually. a couple of weird bouncing ball ints and pfft... nothing much else. though, surprised peterson didnt make more noise. stats were there (i was told) yet... never really threatened to blow it open. now i'm asking peyton hillis to do what adrian couldnt? i actually think that clv's def and pass gm are better than minny's

ok, so what am i sayin

for no good reason take: dal and minn (and to lesser thought) chicago

det has covered games late--think it'll be the other way around in this one--with jets taking out frustrtaions here.

shouldnt TB be getting more credit against a less than stellar D of atl?

oak kc looks like a true coin flip. granted, kc has better running game, oak has a twice better passing game. kc gets edge on def and coaching.

miami--- has been covering (or playing well enough to cover) since jus before their bye wk and imploding on sp tms against NE. 3 straight covers finds me liking balt that has had a wk to let def gel w/ reed back (the fact that buf put up that many pts vs balt--doesnt make you think should also against chi?) relatively same defenses there. its actually the offensive woes that make them look like worse defenses then they are. balt should prolly only be a 3pt fav here -imo, though dont like miami chances of covering 4 in a row

i dont think indy was satisfied with the way they finished gm vs houston. theres alotta stats out there that support phi here, though manning has some ridiculous stats of his own vs phi, somethin like 7-1 td/int ratio and a near perfect qb rating when playing phi. even announcers were all over how indy had no running gm to salt game away late. is that a blocking issue?
vick returns, which i''d actually rather not see, if i were a eagles fan--as think the passing game suffers some w/o kolb there.

charlie whitehurst eh? i actually think he'll do better than hasselbeck--jus not against the giants D.

thats jus some games. i guess i have opinions on all of'em...and dont mean to hijack your thread...jus trying to get these figured is all.

Where it is real F ing COLD
bills win right
:0074

Yeah the logic would be that the Bills would win the way they have been playing but I just can't back em here.. I have used less and less logic when betting NFL.. It works for me..

Tball---

I am not impressed with New England whatsoever,.. They have covered the past 2 seeks because they were up against buffoons of teams in Minny and SD.. I mean those teams gave it to em.. Cleveland plays hard and tough.. Hillis could have a good game..
