The Tennessee Titans have been awarded wide receiver Randy Moss off waivers, according to NFL Network's Michael Lombardi.
The Titans were the only team to put in a claim for Moss, according to Lombardi.

</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>Tennessee is on a bye this week, meaning Moss is likely to hit the field for the Titans in Week 10 when they travel to Miami.
The Titans will pick up the remaining $3 million on Moss' salary for this season.
Moss was released by the Vikings Tuesday, just four weeks after they acquired the six-time Pro Bowler from the Patriots in exchange for a 2011 third-round pick. The Viking also received a seventh-round pick in 2012 in the deal.
In four games for the Vikings, he had 13 receptions for 174 yards and two touchdowns.
Moss' behavior both in the locker room and after Sunday's loss at New England was reportedly a key factor in Viking coach Brad Childress' decision to release Moss.
Moss' actions during a Friday locker-room buffet last week reportedly upset some teammates, including quarterback Brett Favre.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Skins should have. Especially with how screwed up things are starting to get. Moss would have fit in nicely.

"the bunker"
looks like a good fit(if moss doesn`t play like a lazy slug)......young scrambling around......if he can find it within himself to hustle just a little....,i can see him making some big time playground plays with young....

but i`m not sure that the word "hustle" is in moss` vocabulary...

Yahoo!?s Michael Silver recounted a Friday incident in the Vikings? locker room where Moss went out of his way to berate a couple of restaurant proprietors during a catered team meal. :scared

According to one player who witnessed the scene, Moss yelled, ?What the [expletive]? Who ordered this crap? I wouldn?t feed this to my dog!?

Said the witness: ?It was brutal. The truth is, he deserved to be cut after that. It was such an uncomfortable moment. You know that feeling where you just can tell someone feels so small? That?s what it was like being there.

?This wasn?t a chain ? it was a mom-and-pop restaurant, and you could tell it was their best stuff. They had a special carving station set up, and there were players and other support staff lining up to eat it. And [Moss] is at his locker saying, ?You know, I used to have to eat that crap ? but now I?ve got money.? You just felt so sad for them. I had never seen anyone treated like that.

?And by the way, the food was actually really good.?

...................................................................

Seriously , Moss has mental issues. Anyone that would say that to the people serving the food is off his rocker. The Dude has 50 million banked.

Shut the fawk up and go buy your own food.

Moss left college with one of the lowest IQs ever recorded. In a few years, Moss will have exhausted his money ? stupid is as stupid does ? and be arrested for drug possession, thrown in the slammer, and end up washing dishs as a convicted felon in the above ppls restaurant.

It takes a real jackass and very small person to treat people just trying to earn a living like dirt. And that describes Moss to a ?T?. That was just unbelievably arrogant and cruel

He just gave the best free publicity to that restaurant watch how popular it becomes because of this. Ironically by trashing the place the opposite affect will happen.

Sexlexia...
And suddenly you "deserve to be cut" for being stupid?...For abusing some random restaurant owner??

Favre's made the whole organisation look like a joke for 18 months or so and he's still firmly entrenched!

Players can break laws (drug related, alcohol related, weapons/violence related)...but tell someone his food is shit and it's out the door? :mj07:

Funny times I tells ya.

Anyway...good news for my Titans SB ticket. :0074

Moss told Vikings owner to fire Childress

Posted by John Paulsen (11/05/2010 @ 10:00 am)

Per the Minneapolis Star-Tribune?

After catching only one pass for 8 yards in the Vikings? 28-18 loss to the New England Patriots, Moss walked into the visitors? locker room where Wilf and other executives stood. According to an NFL source familiar with what transpired, Moss told the Vikings owner in no uncertain terms that Childress wasn?t a good coach and should be fired.

Desperate times call for desperate measures and sometimes those desperate measures involve risks that completely blow up in your face. Here we have a coach, who will likely be fired at the end of the season, waiving a talented yet temperamental receiver (whom he just acquired four weeks earlier at the cost of a third-round pick) without even consulting ownership. And as it turns out, that receiver, just four weeks into his stint with his new team, called for the dismissal of the coach.
