I'm back after sitting out the last 3 weeks because I just didn't like the way the season was going...my last play was the Packers -3 over the Skins back in week 5 and I still cant believe how that game turned out at the Packers dominated the game, caught two key injuries during the game and missed two key FG's in the process...Im still up over 5 units for the season and I'm happy I sat out the last 3 weeks cause I may have been down for the year with the way the ball has been bouncing this season...
I have one Medium Size 2 unit play that I ilke and played for this week.

Jets +2?The Jets are coming off a home loss to a very good Packers team and appeared to be flat coming off of their bye week?this week they face a Lions team that won their second game of the season last week by beating a very overrated Redskins team at home?make no mistake the Lions are a much improved team but are overmatched this week?the Lions defense ranks 27th overall in the league against the run and faces a Jets offense that ranks 3rd overall in the league running the football?the Jets will be able pound the rock on the ground and control the tempo of the game which will help QB Mark Sanchez set up the play action pass?on the flip side?the Lions haven?t been able to establish their running game this season and currently rank 30th overall running the ball?don?t expect the Lions to turn that stat around this week since they face a Jets defense that ranks 4th overall in the league defending the run which forces QB Andrew Stafford to get the job done through the air?the problem is this?Calvin Johnson will be locked up on Revis Island?other that TE Brandon Pettigrew, the rest of the Lions receivers don?t scare anybody...Bottom Line ? Head Coach Rex Ryan has the team in the right state of mind to rebound from their loss last week and get the Jets back on track in Motown?Trends ? The Jets are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games as a road favorite of 3.5-10.0, 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games as a road favorite, 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game, 8-1 ATS in their last 9 road games, 6-1 ATS vs. a team with a losing record, 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game, 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing less than 15 points in their previous game and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall? The Lions are 5-0 ATS vs. a team with a winning record, 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall, 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS win, 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games, 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog, but just 7-20 ATS in their last 27 games as an underdog of 3.5-10.0, 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. win and just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games as a home underdog of 3.5-10.0.
New York 26 Detroit 17
Chiefs +8?The Chiefs are coming off an OT home win over a Bills team that has been playing well as of late and face a Raiders team this week that has won two straight games in convincing fashion as they beat a poor Broncos team 59-14 in Denver and a poor traveling Seahawks team 33-3 last week at home?in that Seahawks game the game was much closer than what the score indicates as the Raiders lead by just 13-0 in the fourth quarter before the Seahawks came apart? The mismatch in this game is the Chiefs No 1 rated running attack which is averaging 190 yds on the ground versus a Raiders defense that ranks 26th overall in the league defending the run?the Raiders last two opponents the Broncos and Seahawks haven?t been successful running the football this season which played into the hands of the Raiders?this week the Silver and Black wont be so lucky facing Thomas Jones and Jamaal Charles?the Chiefs should be able to run the football all day long?also?the fact that Raiders CB Nnamdi Asomugha has a leg injury and will likely sit or be way less than 100% will help the Chiefs passing game on Sunday?on the flip side?Jason Campbell will likely draw the start once again this week but will likely be without two of his favorite targets WR Louis Murphy (lung) and TE Zach Miller (foot) although Miller has said that he will give it a try on Sunday? The bottom line is the underdog is 6-0 ATS in the last 6 meetings between these two teams and the Chiefs are a perfect 7-0 ATS in their last 7 meetings with the Raiders in Oakland.
