I went back and watched the 4th quarters of the Hawks 3 loses--easy conclusion--their def front line and lb'ers are out of shape--3 loses in the 4th qtr within about 2 minutes left for each--no pass rush--look tired. Looks like a minor bowl game for them,-disappointing year-guess NW just has thier number plus they usually don't see that many passes. I think we miss those lbers and Hampton. What's your take

And I had already made plans with my cousin to stay at his house for the Rose Bowl.....:sadwave:

Agree with this, Hawkeye. That and the fukin loser Ken O'Keefe and his playing calling with a lead. Time and time again he calls those halfback dives into the line and punts the ball back to the other team with as little as a one point lead.

Wet all day long and then when the rain stopped the wind started blowing and it was as cold as I've been at a game in a long time.
Turned to my buddy after NW scored to make it 17-14 and said here it comes. 3 runs, a punt and a TD by NW and we go home losers once again. Guy sitting in front of us turned around and glared at me and I told him the truth hurts.
After they scored he turned around again and said he knew it was coming, too, but he didn't want to say anything to jinx us....
Now watch Iowa come home next week and beat OSU then go get rolled by the Goofers to end the season...:sadwave:

Yep could happen--really disappointed in Clayborn's play. They just don't lok like they are ready to play-fired up in the 1st half anymore. Are any of the hurt lb'ers coming back next week

He should be embarrased for putting 83 on some one... That kinda stuff eventually comes back to haunt.

Did Bielema really run it up? I thought I saw something where of their 10 offensive TD's, 8 came on drives of 5 or less plays. From that it would seem that Indy's horrible D was at its all time best.....errr worst.

And Clayborn's NFL stock climbs every week. Double and triple teaming him but then no one else gets much pressure on the QB. Iowa seems to always have very slow linebackers which gives teams like NW and Ohio State that have quick QBs a huge advantage--why we don't spy a guy like Persa with a LB is beyond me....

They were throwing the ball in the 4th quarter, but from what I saw while watching it was a team that quit. Indiana wasn't tackling at all and Wisky's huge offensive line was blowing open holes that a truck could have driven through.
Wisconsin is twice the team MSU is but unless Joe Pa beats Sparty MSU will be in the Rose Bowl....

I'm just wondering how long Wisconsins first team was in? You can do things to keep it from getting so ugly, like playing 2nd and 3rd stringers. I doubt if the coach would like to be on the receiving end of a game/score like that.

from the link BGFalcon provided...

2. If there is a tie for the championship, the winner of the game between these two teams shall represent the conference.

Sparty beat Wisky, so someone needs to beat Sparty for Wisky to go to the Rose Bowl as Wisky has already beaten Ohio State and Iowa.

that is in the case of a 2 way tie, there will be a 3 way tie and they all didn't play eachother. If the season ends up as it is now, Wiscy will be in the Rose Bowl.

That is correct. Head to head only comes into play in a two-way tie. If the Buckeyes lose to Iowa (maybe) or Michigan (not likely) and Wisky and Sparty win out. MSU goes to Pasedena.

Of course, judging by their history, you've got to like Sparty's chances of screwing this up :mj07:.

Duh. My bad. If Iowa can't be in the Rose Bowl I'd rather see Wisconsin rather than Sparty or Bucky.
