One of the worst rules in all of sports is the instigator rule. Avery wouldn't do half the shit he does if the instigator rule was abolished.

After that happened he got rushed by the whole team as he was trying to leave the ice, I don't think they cared about penalty minutes at that point.

All he did was sucker punch a guy, that stuff happens all the time, it was an asshole move but he gets paid millions to be an asshole.

If he played for the Leafs I would love it. Remember when Tie Domi elbowed Niedermayer, that was worse than anything Avery has ever done, and I'm willing to overlook that lol.

Plus Domi just turtled like a bitch the next season when it came time to pay the piper against Jerseys big man, I forget his name but the guy was huge.
