Why is Depaul only giving 7 to Western Carolina? Here is a better question. Why in gods name are they favorite. I know Oliver Purnell usually brings change around pretty quick at where ever he goes, but this team is going to take some time to get going. I think we got some big East vs small school bias going on here. Part of me wanted to pound this game and make it a pbr 6 unit play and it probably should be, but I determined to not give back any profits and keep the bankroll growing. Western Union is 10 points better than this team and I'm getting 7? Good Gravy. Or I'm just plain missing something.

Clem - as a DePaul alum your head-scratching on this one is merited. DePaul will be pretty bad this year despite racking up some wins in the non-conference against a pretty meager slate. Purnell is going full-steam ahead with the same style he ran at Clemson. Problem is that the Blue Demon roster is pretty void of Big East caliber talent. The effects of Jerry Wainwright are going to be felt for a few more seasons. Anyway, Purnell is committed to do the press, and stay with it, despite a square-peg/round-hole scenario with his roster and the style he wants to play. DePaul's exhibition against Lewis is a prime example. A good DII school easily broke the press and was killing DePaul, but he stayed in it. He is fine with the team taking its lumps this year.

They do have some talent in their young guys, but these kids are raw and will get beat by veteran teams. Also DePaul lacks size and depth in the front court and will be exposed often in that area.

As for the game and the 7 point spread, I think it is an indication of vegas' thoughts on W. Carolina. As shown by their drubbing by an average Clemson squad, it doesn't appear they will be as good as they were last year.

Regardless, gl on your play. Not being pleased with the hire of Purnell, I would love to see an upset in this game.

Well boys a slow day at the office means I'm busy handicapping games. I found some weak lines today here they go. Feeling pretty good about my numbers right now. I'm going to strike while the iron is hot.

and played a unit on the money line at +280

PBR ALERT. Defcon 5. Johnny Bravo is going in to Club some seals.
VCU -3.5 over Wake Forrest. VCU will run this team out of the gym. Better guards. As good or better up front. Deeper. and return 4 starters off a 27 win team. VCU is a dozen better.

I'm benefiting by how bad St joes has looked, and vegas is giving us about 9 more points than we need here. St Joes is only giving up one edge to penn state and it's up front and it's not a huge edge.

I've got them at least 10 better than youngstown. They put the young in youngstown this year 1 starter back off 8 win year, Buffaloholds all edges.

Marist is my lowest rated team on the east coast. Villanova is 44 points better, I see value in a first half play

Bought Back the western Carolina at 7 and got it at 8.5 with another shop.
