Here is the deal with insurance sales. Once you get a account base, that is money that comes in every month/year or whatever. They usually work to a certain level where they are making whatever money they think is good, and then just sit in a chair all day answering phones and playing on line poker.

To expand your base takes too much work. Cold calling after being in business for as long as Dogs has been doing it, thats a laugh. Maybe you hand out a few cards at the grocery store and church social on Sunday. There is a chance that you actually sell a few policys a month , just to keep it interesting.

Productive.

Maybe even drink a few buds out of the refrigerator in a back office just for such occasions.

I doubt you even go to any church.

That might have been the only time he ever said such a thing, just to get a reaction , and it worked out good. But you have to jump on that without knowing the truth and make the guy look like a nutcase. Preachers of a church that size are constantly doing things for people. There is a wake to go to, a visit to the hospital to visit Mrs Jenkins. Then go and knock on some doors to just talk to church members and help them.

He would be a man that many would go to in time of need. He would help them with money from the church to get them through a hard time of lost work. Give the donations of food from the concregation to tide them over. You know acting like a human being.

Hell I have said worse than that and I am sure you have also. Something is wrong with a goverment that is not working for the people. These two partys just fight it out in front of us. Their only goal in life is to make one party look bad. They spend all their time on that because they get elected again and make the big cash. But they quickly forget about doing the work of the people and by the people. Its a terrible way to run things.

Proud, greedy men that think like this usually end up being in the chit. But they dont care because any news chit where people know you, allows you to make money.

While I do enjoy our spirited conversations here, I consider Wayne a great person, and someone quick to help others when in need. I know first hand what kind of person he really is, and I'm thankful to "know" him. I think he gets ripped on far too much around here, but I also think he takes care of himself pretty well. I don't agree with many of his political stances, but I agree with his willingness to help others here in our MadJack's community. He's gone above and beyond for me personally, and I thank him for that.

If you can't see that, then so be it. He didn't help me out with anything except a suggestion about what I could look at doing, and I was already underway with looking into it before he sent me the info. He offered to help more, and I didn't accept or need that, but he took it upon himself to extend above and beyond what most of the people in the world would do. It had nothing to do with superiority, it had to do with trying to help and being a good human being. He's not superior to me. He's a superior person for trying to help.

Clearly, I don't expect you to understand that. Nor do I really care, other than spreading bullshit about someone who actually tried to make things better for another person in a real way. The thing that makes me curious is why did doggie become an annoying insurance salesman? I have to be honest, every salesman that I know has pretty much failed at everything else they attempted. Nobody tells the teacher in elementary school that they want to sell insurance. Its pretty much a last resort. Their dreams went from doctor or lawyer to salesman. Pretty sharp drop off there if you ask me. Hey, but at least doggie isn't living off me. Be sure to keep selling those policies. It would be a shame if I had to support you one of these days.
